5 months and 6 days

My Lou,

I'm writing this letter as soon as I got yours and I hope it will get to you quick. I just finished reading your letter. God.. Louis, my Louis, never do that to yourself again. Ever. I know it's hard. I know it's difficult but we are strong aren't we? You always tell me that we are. So we will be just fine. I will be back before you know it. We will be together before you know it. Funny how it is always the way around. You telling me these things. But don't forget I'm here for you, just like you are for me. I'll do anything and everything for you just like you will for me.

Remember you always said that communication is the key to everything and I would always argue saying you know what I want just by looking at me. Guess we forgot this time that we can't look at each other to know what the other is feeling. We need to take help from these inked words for now. Tell each other what we are feeling until we are together again. Be strong, I know you are, you always were, between the both of us.

Fate is a funny thing. I never thought, the scared kid would be going to do something so daring as joining the army but look where am I. And you know what I trust fate because it made me meet you and made us fall in love. So I trust it to bring us back together again.

It's a good thing you decided to pay visit to everyone, say them my hello. I'm also writing them continuously so you won't be mad, more than 10 letters I write just so you won't be mad, the things I do for you Tomlinson.

When everything gets too much just step down a little, take a deep breath and relax. Everything will be fine. You will be fine. I promise you, once again, on my life, that I will keep myself safe as much as I can. I promise you I will be back for you. And I hope to never break this promise and you know I have never broken a promise I made to you. I love you. I read a quote somewhere the other day, I think it goes, 'love me like the moon does the sea, even at a distance', funny how it describes us exactly right now and if I'm to take your words though I disagree that you're the moon not the sun, than it fits us. So, Please love me like the moon does the sea, even at a distance like I'm loving you knowing that one day we will be together and you would shine upon me just the right. 5 months and 6 days. Yes i know I skipped a month. And yes you are reading it right. I'm coming home earlier. I can't endure the thought of you in pain, so I will talk to them and they have to give me these holidays. I have already made my mind and I promise you I will come now after 5 months and 6 days.

A/n: okay so Harry actually writes the letter after he receives Louis' letter which is 7 months. But over here he skips the dates and writes 5 months and 6 days as he was now going to come home earlier...I hope you get my point.
