Title: In your eyes

Pairing: Dean x Reader

Word Count: 3091

The reader has deuteranopia, a type of color blindness that makes it difficult to see the color green, and distinguish between red and green.

A/N: I think this is the biggest imagine I've written so far? Also I think this is the most research I've ever put into something I was writing for fun, so I hope you enjoy! To make it easier to follow, I've attached a photo showing the color scale with 'normal' color vision vs. Deuteranopia.

Y/N's POV

"Wow, your eyes are like, so pretty," the busty blonde bartender leaned over the bar, her face inches from Dean's as she stared into his eyes. Of course, he was too busy looking at her giant breasts pressing against the wood counter to notice how close her face was.

"Well thanks, sweetheart," he smiled with that perfect half-smirk he always had, giving her a wink. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were trying to get in my pants," his voice almost growled as he spoke lowly at her.

"The night's still young," she said as she refilled his whiskey glass. "I've got plenty of time to get there."

I almost choked on my beer, laughing at Dean's now-blushing face. Of course I can't really tell he's blushing... it looks more of a gray color to me. But Sam always says the face he's making right now is the face he makes when he blushes.

"You okay y/n?" Sam asked, calling my attention away from the other end of the near-empty bar where Dean was sitting.

"Oh yeah," I giggled, nodding my head towards Dean. "'S not everyday a busty broad can make your brother speechless."

Sam rolled his eyes. "Okay let's get you out of here. It's getting late and you're only a few shots away from being so drunk that I have to hear you cry about how unfair it is that you can't see Dean's eyes," he grabbed my hand, pulling me out of my seat. He signalled to Dean that the two of us were heading out.

"You love my descriptive abilities, Samuel," I giggled as he held me against his side, helping keep me up as we crossed the street to the hotel.

"Oh yeah, you're so poetic," he rolled his eyes at me as I stumbled into the room. "Get this Sam! You see this apple! It's yellow! And you see the grass? It's yellow-gray!"

"Not my fault I was born colorblind," I mumbled grumpily as I walked across the room.

Sam chuckled. "Maybe she's born with it..."

"Maybe it's a genetic defect," I finished in the most seductive voice I could muster. I glared at Sam as I sat down on the edge of Dean's bed, trying to remove my boots.

"Honestly, y/n, it's so boring when you try to describe why you like Dean," he dodged the boot that went flying across the room as he finished speaking. "Sammy, his eyes are like the prettiest gray-yellow I've ever seen! They're like, almost all the way yellow," Sam attempted his best girly voice as he changed into his pajamas.
