As I said, Skee-Ball is my favorite game, so there was no surprise on how I won the most tickets in the first round. Every time me, Carmen, or Issac go to the arcade together, we would go to each game and play 3 rounds of each. We would then add up our tickets or points from each round and whoever has the most wins that game. After all the games were played, we would eat, and reveal who won the most games out of the 3 of us. The winner gets free pizza and gets to be first in picking what they want from the prize corner. Carmen has won the most, with Issac a close second. I don't go to arcades much so of course I would be last.
The next games we played were a couple of shooter games. As I was getting the high score, something flashed on my screen, making me automatically lose the game. "Dang! The screen is buggy." Issac, still looking at the screen said, "I'm not having any problems, what about you Carmen?" Carmen just shook her head and turned to kill a couple more zombie hoards.
I moved back to Skee-Ball to see how many 5000s I could get and brushed the loss of a high score off. But then a new thought entered my mind 'What was that shape? It looked like a face. Maybe it zoomed in on one of the monsters? It kinda looked like Ruby though...' That's where I stopped myself. I knew that if I thought about that for too long, I would never get any sleep at night. Luckily, I was able to clear my head when I heard the groans of frustration coming from Carmen. "How?! I was so close!" Issac beamed. It wasn't too often he won a game against her that wasn't biased to him or without the help of others. So he was very happy. "YES! YES! I FINALLY DID IT!" I calmed him down and said to the both of them "How about we take a break so you two don't kill each other." Carmen agreed and sat down at our party table."So, what should we do now?" She asks. "Well, it is Dakota's birthday sooooo...." Issac grinned. "What do you have planned?" I ask. "You'll see." Issac smiled, he was good at this type of thing, so I was excited for what he had planned.
He led me and Carmen out of the arcade and to a field filled with half-dead grass. Hanging from a tree was a cake-shaped pinata with a bat and blindfold next to it. I put on the blindfold and felt Issac put his hands on my shoulders "How long can you last?" "Until I puke?" "10 times, got it." He then started to spin. "7, 8, 9, 10! GO!" I swung the bat at what I thought was the pinata. It turns out to just be the home of a now angry squirrel. I keep swinging at it until I hear the sounds of rustling and falling. Licorice and chocolate poured out of the now broken piece of cardboard. I took my bag and started to grab as much as I could.
As I ate my candy, I watch Issac and Carmen plan out the rest of our 'Game Plan'. "How about, we hit the rest of the shooter games, move on to the simulations, go through the laser maze, and then come back." "That sounds good enough, but what do we do after?" I chimed in. "I mean, maybe we could go around the block with all those small stores and buy a couple of things. I also have something I want to show you."
"Alright, then let's play till we drop."
