"Yo, Japan!"

I looked up from the bench I was sitting on to see America running towards me.

"Ah, America, I've seen you've made it."

"Of course I did dude, you think I'm stupid enough to miss an anime com?" America stated.

"No, but seeing as you are one of the most forgetful nations I know, it wouldn't have come as a surprise if you had forgotten."

"Hey," he wined, "That was cruel."

I chuckled softly, "Come on now, let's get going; there are many things I'd like to show you."

We walked inside the building hundreds of tables were inside the large room. There were loads of people walking around; many, including America and I, were in cosplay. People were walking around taking pictures and buying merchandise.

America's face was bright, like a child in a candy store; or a dog when their owner takes them on a walk. "Oh, let's go over there," he said as he grabbed (yanked) me by the arm.

America took me to one of the stands with various DBZ action figures, as well as posters and other accessories.

"Hey, how much for this one?" America asked as he pointed to said figure.

"Thirty."

"Ah, well fuck it."

He bought the overpriced figure. At that moment, we both knew; we were going to go broke again.

"I have come to one conclusion today." America declared.

America and I were drinking boba tea on one of the tables outside the convention building.

"Oh? What would that be?" I asked.

"Never bring more than three-hundred dollars to a convention; you will use all three-hundred dollars."

I laughed, "I believe many have come to that conclusion America."

He sighed, "I'm going to go broke man, I got like, ten dollars left over."

"Don't feel too bad; I only got five dollars left."

He chuckled, "I guess when it comes to anime merchandise, we both waste our money irresponsibly."

"Yeah. I can already hear China fussing over how I've "wasted" my money." I muttered.

"Same here; England is gonna be on my ass about this for the next month."

I nodded; we seemed to have something else in common; we both had mentors that would press their judgment upon us. In our defense, they also buy unnecessary things, such as China's obsession with cute things and England's obsession with teacups.

"Yo, Japan."

"Yes?" I asked.

"We should take a picture at the picture booth." America implied.

Why would we need more pictures; we've already taken thousands while inside.

"Alright."

We walked over to the picture booth after disposing of our boba cups. There were two booths; one had a long line of people waiting to use it and another seemingly empty. As America and I walked closer to the picture booths, we could see why one was vacant.

A couple was making out in the booth; and... doing other procedures that I would prefer not to witness up-hand.

"Ya know, dude." America began, "I think we should skip the booth and like, get the hell away from here!"
