Chapter 5

Scott's POV

"Oh my God, he's so cute!" Kirstie said as soon as we left his room. I just rolled my eyes. I mean yeah I know he's cute but sh-- WAIT DID I JUST CALLED MITCH CUTE??! What the hell is wrong with me? No no.. he's not cute.. Ugh!

"What's going on in that pretty little head of yours? Thinking of him?" I heard Kirstie said while walking next to me. I glared at her and saw her smirk.

"What?" She said innocently and still maintaining the smirk on her face.

"Wipe that smirk of your face. I wasn't thinking of him. Besides, why would I?"

"Cause you're interested in him? And you think he's cute too? Duh!" She rolled her eyes and I could feel my cheeks reddening.

"Okay let me tell you a couple of things." I said trying so hard to keep my voice strong enough. "One, I'm not interested in him. And two, I'm not gay so he's not c-cute."

"Are you sure?"

"Hell yeah I'm sure."

"Really? Cause I heard the little stutter."

I didn't really know what to say to her. I mean, I was confused myself. I was damn sure that I'm straight as hell but then Mitch came. I know it sounds cliché but I get this weird feeling when I first laid my eyes on him. But.. Ugh! I don't know. All I wanted to do was to go home, take a nice shower, and sleep. Yeah I needed to sleep to forget everything that happened today. And more importantly, I need to forget him.

The next morning was the usual stuff. I woke up, got ready, and went to school. I decided to pick Kirstie up so I texted her. When I arrived at her house she was ready so we took off to school immediately.

"Guess what!" Kirstie said excitedly as soon as she got inside my car.

"What? You're on your period?"

"EW Scott!!" She said disgusted and we both burst out laughing.

"Anyway, that's not what happened." She said after we finished laughing. "What happened is that I managed to get Mitch's number so you can text him."

"Whoa wait. First of all, how did you get his number? And second, why would I text him?"

"I may or may not have seduced the principal's son into giving me his number." Kirstie said while grinning at me.

"Jeremy?" I said and she nodded proudly.

"He's so totally whipped. I mean last time you asked him to log into his mom's computer and change all your bad grades and now you told him to hack the school's database for some guy's number. What's next? Will you ask him to kill Mr. Lambert so we can all live peacefully?" I asked her jokingly.

Jeremy is the principal's son and he had a crush on Kirstie. Not just a simple crush, but a huge one.  I mean he's totally head over heels for Kirstie. He did everything that Kirstie asked him to do, no matter good or bad. I knew that secretly Kirstie liked him too but she'd never wanted to admit it.

"Haha, very funny Scott. Speaking of Mr. Lambert, I don't think that he's still teaching us."

"What do you mean?"

"Jeremy told me that he quit because he couldn't handle students' 'extreme behavior'."

"Like for real?" I asked and she nodded.

"Thank God! Yes, we'll finally have a peaceful life, free from inhuman homeworks." I screamed cheerfully. Call me mean but Mr. Lambert would be the death of me if he teached me for another year. He was the cruelest teacher the world has ever had. He gave tons of homeworks but little time to do it and that's why I hated him.
