Date Night
Shawn's choice of date night was a nice chill restaurant 30 minutes away from the city. Entering the restaurant was amazing the smell of the food filled my nose and entered my stomach. The food was about to be good and we both knew it.

We got an outside table he had it reserved for us before we got here. A few steps away from us was a beautiful lake. There was a slight breeze not too cold Shawn was quick to give me his blazer. We ordered our food the time we were waiting I took advantage of the opportunity to talk to Shawn and give him the ring.

"What did you do today?", he asked.

"I went out to get ready got myself all the fancy treatments to look good. I also dropped by the studio and worked on this song I came up with today. I got some of the song but I will finish the rest another day.", I answered.

"Enjoying the credit cards?", he asked.

"I actually use my own money I feel weird that is your hard earned money, I will use it if it is something super necessary.", I explained.

"We a couple nearly married so don't worry not like I could spend all that money myself either way", he explained.

"Thars true maybe I will get used to it but for now baby steps", I said.

"I got you"

"That brings me to something special I have it's a family jewelery for the men we love. We give them this ring and they were it or as a chain. My dad passed me this after my mom left and she said to give it to someone you love. This piece will somehow get back to me and I have to pass it forward to next generation. You're the one I love and I trust", I gave him the ring.

"Wow it is a beautiful ring I love it let's see if it fits", he tried it on.

The ring fit him perfectly not lose or tight and it matched his outfit he was wearing.

"It's perfect and it is there to stay", he showed off his ring.

"I didn't think it would but I was wrong this awesome", I said.

"Do you know how old this ring is?", he asked.

"It was made in the 1940's, I don't know how they got it given the time. My great grandpa had it, grandpa, dad and now your turn.", I explained.

"I will protect it forever and will keep this going down the line of Knowles?", he asked.

"Beyincé actually my mom's side my name is based on her maiden name.", I explained.

"Cool it is rare to here a story like that with so many basic names in New York", he said.

"Yeah thats why I love my name at first people didn't get it now they do. It is an original name", I said.

"I've never met a Beyoncé so that is extra original and rare. Shawn is pretty common so is Jay but who cares I rock the name the best."

"Yes you do for sure, ain't no one do it like you do boo", I kissed his cheek.

The food we ordered was delicious the restaurant really did a good job with the seasoning and flavor. Some expensive restaurants be bland and nasty this restaurant wasn't. We both enjoyed the food and the quiet ambient there was here.

We couldn't be too serious what is the fun in that. We were cracking jokes and dying of laughter the waiter was also laughing with us. I will keep this in the list of good food and good vibes for another day.

"We are getting closer to being married, your ready?", Shawn asked.

"Is that even a question I am so ready to be Mrs. Carter", I put my hand on his face.
