Ears popping, feet cramped, bed head and crumpled clothes was her look for the day. There was only one thing different in her appearance, instead of looking groggy or tired she had a smile that could light up a whole room. She was the only one who couldn't stand still in their check out counter. She kept on shifting from one foot to the other until she was escorted by one of the security personnel for her excited behavior. She obviously did not have any trace of any drugs and was left of with a sheepish smile from them and obviously a warning not to behave like that again.
The others looked like they had woken from a long and deep sleep. They had the usual jet lag look. They ignored her and left the airport to be meet with a real live band. Like with a bandmaster, drums, trumpets the whole jazz.
They heard an excited sequel and saw a bundle of red run towards the man in front of the band who till then had been dancing away to glory. On seeing her his grin widened and picking her up like she weighed nothing put her over his shoulder and continued to dance.
Kim wiggled out of her brothers grip and ran towards her other brothers who were leaning against the cars. She launched herself at each of her brothers with enough force that they inevitably took a step back to steady themselves and her. By then the band had worked themselves into a state and her eldest brother paid them and sent them off. The other brothers put everyone's luggage into the waiting cars.
"Can I drive? Can I drive? Please pretty please can I drive? Please please pleeeaaaassseee!!!" Kim whined. "Which one do you want?" Asked one of her brothers. Her mouth slightly opened but quickly recovering she scanned the waiting cars. She stopped and turned back to look at a black sleek SUV, Carl had also looked at it in appreciation as it had just come out in the market.
She practically ran towards the car but turning her head said " what are you waiting for?" to her friends, they shook their heads with resignation. They knew how reckless she could get, not that she wasn't a safe driver because when she wanted she could go slower than a senior citizen and then could go faster than racers. Today unfortunately she looked like she wanted to race. That usually meant that the people sitting behind had almost attacks.
It was a race to remember alright. Each of her brothers racing to make sure she never broke her neck. She drove like the hounds of hell were on her heels. Weaving through traffic driving on foot paths, almost getting on the divider and running a red light were only the few rules that she broke. It wasn't that she was a wild child, it's just there were days when she wanted to do anything and get away. It usually wasn't so drastic as breaking traffic rules and well you had to try everything once at least in life.
They had turned into a large driveway that had a very majestic looking house. Servants lined up near the stairway waiting to escort them to their rooms. Each guest had a helper. The last that they saw of Kim was she running away from her brother when he thundered at her "you abused my baby! You're so gonna pay!"
When Carl looked at the top of the stairs an elderly couple were standing there with serene smiles. He saw the older man bend and say something to his wife to which she swatted his arm in a playful manner. They reminded him of his grandparents.
They welcomed each of them and looked like they genuinely were happy with them being here.
They informed them that they would have dinner by 9 as till then the whole family would be there. All the actors were very curious to meet the other members of the family.
New places, New people and new adventures. So Kim has a wild side too, she just keeps it better hidden. What do you think Carl has to say about this?
Stay tuned! Plz vote, comment and share!
