You may wonder why RJ called Kim his wife? Well to know more please read on.

So she was the bosses wife. No wonder he had received such a cold welcome. But then why was she working? He knew for a fact that RJ was rich, the fact that he was funding their film which cost as much as a small country told him she didn't need to work. She may be one of those liberal women who believed in working so as to retain her freedom. He couldn't stop the smirk that came on his face. His face suddenly furrowed when he realized that he was thinking about someone that he may never meet and he was tired, all he needed was to focus on washing up and getting into bed and most importantly forgetting a pair of dark brown fiery eyes. Eyes that reminded him of an other.

All Kim wanted was to have a tub of ice cream, laze in her pajamas and eat take out, instead here she was putting the final touches to her lipstick. She had rushed home to tell her friends about her promotion. On hearing it they insisted that they NEEDED to go party. Now partying wasn't something she liked, she had to get in the mood to want to shake her body to loud music while being surrounded by sweaty, sticky bodies. She was a home body. A full fledged nerd. The smell of book's made her high not second hand smoke. She grumbled but as usual it fell on deaf ears.

"We are going to Paolo's, he is so excited about you coming. Remember the time we went shopping? He loved dressing you up!" Exclaimed Samaira with a wicked gleam in her eye. Kim ignored her and instead asked their other friend Diya, " are you going to wear the black heels?".

"Nope. But really why don't you just stay back with him! Just imagine all the clothes and the shoes and bags you'd get!" She told Kim cheekily. Kim rolled her eyes at them and said " only losers like you would think this is amazing, and have you forgotten? I'm a married woman!! I love my husband dearly and he loves me too!. So now if you don't mind can we leave. I thought we were getting late". "You mean the "marriage" that you have with RJ?" They asked simultaneously. It irritated her no end when they ganged up against her, she did the next best thing and shot them a glare.

The girls just nodded their agreement, when they reached it was packed as usual but since they knew Paolo they were let in without hassle. When they were seated, Paolo personally came to take their orders, he barely paid attention to the others having eyes only for Kim. She did her best not show her discomfort at his scrutiny as well as being polite without actually hurting him. She could always use the other tactic of being cold, but she did not have it in her to be rude to him. He was like an eager puppy who wanted all your attention. He had been so sad when he found out that Kim was married.

RJ never came with them here after getting dirty looks not just from Paolo but also the staff. It was as if he was the reason their boss had gotten his heart broken. With no encouragement from Kim whatsoever. The girls found it hilarious, Kim found it embarrassing. She knew she was plain at the most cute and Paolo's attentions were something she did not know how to handle properly and usually brushed them off as puppy love.

Paolo was a good looking Italian man who had tanned olive skin, dark brooding looks which could have easily gotten him modeling assignments but he was a thorough businessman. He had opened many nightclubs of one which they were seated in. His clubs were famous for having only the best, from the food, to the music and even to the clientele, Paolo's was a favorite.

Kim silently sent a thank you above when Paolo had to play the gracious host when a rich Swiss couple entered. The girls started their teasing and as usual Kim ignored them. It was their ritual of first eating the amazing pasta and then dancing away till they couldn't feel their feet and today wouldn't have been any different but for the feeling that someone was staring at them since they had walked in.

They made a circle amongst themselves when she felt the tell tale signs of someone staring at them again. She turned to see who was being so rude when she saw who it was. It was the pig who had meet her at RJ's. Their eyes instantly clashed. Each of them having a mini staredown. Neither willing to give in. It would have continued if not for a very drunk woman walking past Carl and spilling it's contents on him. She couldn't help the smirk that flashed on her face which was soon replaced with a cold haughty look. She was taken aback when she realized that the "drunk" woman was none other than Samaira. When Samaira winked at her she knew her friend had purposely spilled the drink on him. She saw Carl give her an angry look to which she gave him a tipsy smile. Instead to bothering to tell her off, he stomped away to the men's room to get the contents of the glass off of him.

He had spotted her the minute she walked in. There weren't many women who had a girlish skip to their walk, nor did they have dark expressive eyes. He saw her turn around many times trying to figure out who was looking at her. He wasn't checking her out, it most definitely wasn't because of the short, tight red dress that she wore nor was it because of how the owner was literally fawning over her like she was some sort of rich, famous person. He most definitely wasn't looking at her when she gave out a loud throaty laugh, he did not notice how her eyes were twinkling with mischief the whole night. He had only gotten out of his chair to stand by the railing to see what she would do next. It was plain curiosity.

He was surprised when he saw the ice princess, yes he nick-named her, was dancing like it was a street fair than a posh nightclub. He had seen his relatives do the same steps during the many festive and celebratory events that happened every year. She and her friends were least bothered by how they looked. They were dancing to enjoy not to show their expertise. Then she turned and it was like you could see how her expression changed from excited to her eyes shooting daggers at him.

He did not want to be found but he wasn't someone to back down either and that's how he ended up having a mini staredown which resulted in her friend "accidentally" dropping her drink on him. He wasn't surprised, he knew that if she was a strong woman she would find other strong woman to be friends with, after all, only strong woman would build each other and not tear them down, words his mother had told his sister's year's ago. He had a feeling that they would meet many more times and each time would be as fiery as the first. He got back to his table with a grin slowly spreading over his face.

So it looks like Carl and Kim are not going to let bygones be bygones. They definitely don't hold each other in high regard. But what do they know fate has other plans? Stay tuned to see their journey.
