Walking as proudly as she could up to the receptionist, Kim glared at the tall unruly looking man who had been checking her out since she had got into the elevator . He did not look at her, his back was turned to her as he was talking to woman and two men. She was boring bullets in his back when Marie, the pixie looking receptionist told her that she could meet her friend.

Not bothering about the dweeb who had checked her out she practically ran to her friends office.

Her friend was considered one of the top most producers of his time. He was a simple man but did indulge in a few things, one of them being his office. Now said office was a big spacious area that was done up in warm earthy tones. He had two three-seaters which were brown leather, a low round wooden table, a large book case with books, scripts, plays and poetry. He had a ceiling to floor window that overlooked the street below and a view of Hyde park. Kim could never get over the view. RJ had read every thing that was in the book case. He wasn't a pretentious person who kept appearances to appease people. He was what he was without bothering about anyone's opinion. And that was why Kim considered him one of her closest friends.

RJ was on the phone placating his better half " No I won't cheat. Yes I will only have a salad. Yes Zee I won't, listen I promise I won't cheat now go away Kim looks like she may explode with excitement. One sec."

"Zee is asking whether we are on for dinner?" At Kim's nod RJ put the phone back to his ear and said "Yes we are on. Bye Zee, love you too. See you soon."

" Ohhh I see what u did there!" Exclaimed Kim cheekily. "I have no idea what are you saying. And yes I will refuse to even acknowledge that you may be on to something" Replied RJ with a straight face. Not being able to control her excitement anymore she burst out "I got it! I got the promotion! I am officially the manager of British Airlines!!!. I don't have to work as hard as before! And I get to go a good hour and a half later than my usual time!" Kim said.

"I told you, you'd get it. You were the only one who doubted yourself. Now since you've got the promotion does that mean you'll pay our bill for dinner?" RJ asked with a sly smile. Rolling her eyes Kim with a haughty sniff answered " well if I must". RJ couldn't help him self he burst out laughing and enveloped Kim in a bear hug and said "So Kimmy do you think you could convince Zee to ease up a little on the food regime? I haven't had a good meal in so long" groaning RJ asked her. A smirk playing on her lips Kim said "what's in it for me?". Knowing what she wanted RJ sighed and rubbing the back of his neck, said " Ok I'll take you along but you can't tell anyone else. And if you do the deals off! Understand?". A smile that showed of all her teeth Kim said" cross my heart and hope to die!." Before he could make sure she would keep their plans to herself Marie knocked loudly and entering said " sorry to interrupt but we are already running late for the meeting. If you could please let me know how long would you take I'll inform them." RJ replied " A minute more please, escort them to the board room. I'll just show Kim out."

Kim gave a sheepish look to Marie and mouthed "sorry". Putting his hand on her back RJ guided Kim out of his office and leading her towards the board room said "Kim I want you to meet the actors who are going to be a part of my next." Before Kim could say something she could feel herself pushed into the board room where the four people from the elevator were already seated, the unruly man had his glares off and she felt like she had seen him before. She could she his eyes clearly for the first time. They were blue with flecks of green.

She knew the flecks were green because at the moment they were lazily roaming about her, they stopped when she had straightened her shoulders, ice in her eyes and her lips pressed in a straight line. Instead of seeing any remorse there was instead a silent challenge in his eyes. She did not know why but she knew whatever he would challenge her to she would except it. With a tilt of his head he raised an eyebrow at her in return, she did the same. Noting the silent battle between the two RJ cleared his throat and said "I'd like you to meet my wife Kim Shah. Kim we have on board Jonah, Eve, Ryan and Carl. They will start shooting next week and are here to be a part of a short workshop." Kim smiled politely at everyone except at Carl, where she looked like she was baring her teeth than smiling at him.

So they finally meet and it looks like more than sparks are flying! So now they know who each other is. What do you think is going to happen? Will they be able to see eye to eye? Or will it always be so fiery?
