The mall was a mere twenty minute drive, meaning that Dream's younger sister had been in the mall with her friend for about twenty-five minutes. If my shopping instincts came in to use, it would mean that they had surfed about three shops, onto their fourth. We got out the silver car (I won't forget that) and walked towards the entrance. The parking lot was relatively empty, but not exactly deserted. A few cars were littered next to some lampposts and scattered into secluded parking spaces.

The automatic doors flung open with our presence, and a wave of air-conditioning hit my face.

"Oof, I forgot how heavenly AC is," I commented.

"Yeah. Other people worship gods. Us Floridians worship the AC." he joked. He pulled out his phone and went to the Find My Friends app.

"Alright, it looks like they're on the third floor." he says.

"There's three floors to this mall?"

"Nope. Four and a half."

"Jesus."

We find an elevator that takes us to the third floor, the food court. Even though I had eaten roughly three hours ago, I wanted to grab something to eat. Not necessarily a full meal, but a light snack.

I start to gravitate to the small Pinkberry on the side, when Dream stops me, putting a hand to my chest. I whine against it.

"Dude, let me get my Pinkberry." I complain.

"No, shut up I see them." he says.

"Wait, lemme see," I perk up.

"Oh, now you're interested."

"Shut up, Lizard man."

"Lizard man?"

"Shit they're coming towards the Pinkberry! Get inside, quickly!" I exclaimed, pushing him. His tall figure was hard to shove, but I got his ass inside the shop before they did. The building format was weird, there were two large pillars in front of the front counter that could easily hide two people, or in other words——Dream and I. We press up behind the pillars as casually as we can, trying to not burst out laughing. But there wasn't anybody else except for Dream's sister and her friend (who we could hear, by the way.), so Dream and I had to order to look like casual shoppers, too.

"I'm going to order, just don't talk or say anything weird." I explain, and Dream nods his head. I walk up to the counter, order my favorite frozen yogurt, and get a plain one with kiwis and dark chocolate crisps on it. Paying for our treats, I hand his frozen yogurt to him.

"What in the—" he starts as he views the treat.

"It's plain, cause you're my favorite white boy, green because you're lizard man, and chocolate because why not?" I said, finishing with a shrug. He looked as if he were going to say something, but rather accepted it and carried on with eating it. We exited the store, the faint hint of the two girls' orders ringing in our ears.

"So, you still want to stalk them, or do you want-" Dream begins, breaking a weird silence that had settled its way between us.

"HOLY SHIT DAVE AND BUSTER'S!" I yell excitedly, pointing my finger to the top floor where the entrance to the arcade is.

"I don't think they'll go inside. She's not really one for arcades at this mall. Germaphobic gremlin.." he says with a chuckle.

"She might not, but I will. Question is, Beanstalk——you comin' with?" I say playfully, already turning to head up the escalators. He pauses for a split second, a grin splitting onto his face, before running up to join me. Thank God, I would've looked like a total loser going alone.
