I laid in my bed all morning waiting for the police to show up.
"How long have we been gone?" I said not really to anyone.
"What day is it? What month is it? What YEAR is it even?" I felt like my sense of time and space has slipped into non existentness.
"It's Friday." Casey said.
"Friday!!!!" I repeated.
"Man I'm dead." Then suddenly there was a knock on our door.
"YOU get it!" I moaned.
"NO I'm tiered YOU!" Casey protested.
"Um excuse ME! I'M the one who snuck out in the middle of the night, spent a day and a half in a random dude's trunk, and beat up Wyatt to save YOU! YOU THINK YOU FEEL TIERED?" I snapped.
"Fine. Fine." Casey said and marched toward the door. I flopped to the side in the bed and closed my eyes. My legs ached. I herd running footsteps that came into our house.
"CASEY OH MY GOD! YOU'RE OK!" I herd Ash's voice say. I also herd Casey's muffled screams after that.
"Too tight! Too tight ASH!" He released Casey and continued farther into our room. Behind him a police officer, mom, and principal Tyler. Good lord. Ash turned to me.
"DIANA! DIANA! DI- is she she asleep?"
"Yes." I replied grumpy.

"So what on Earth happened?" The police officer asked us.
"Casey you can take my phone and explain it and show them the video." I said still laying on the bed.
"I need to here from you too." The police officer said.
"Lyla, EAT this annoying police officer!" I said and Lyla started forward.
"Come on Diana." Casey said picking up Lyla.
"Also when did you teach her that?"
"They day I met the devil. A.K.A Wyatt." I replied. After a LONG discussion the police went to go look for Wyatt. They DID give me a warning for storing in a guy's trunk. But whatever. Eventually mom drove us over to the police station where the police had captured Wyatt. I waved smugly as me Ash left.
"Man I can't WAIT to tell Robie!" I said as I marched on. Casey had to answer a couple more questions from the police so she had to stay behind.
"ROBIE! ROBIE! ROBIE ARE YOU ON THERE?" I screamed banging on Robie's door. Robie opened it.
"What?" She asked.
"I. FOUND. CAEY BABY!" I said.
"Really!" She replied. We spent the rest of the night explaining to Robie what happened.
"That's crazy!" Robie said.
"Yeah. But unfortunately I have to go home now." I said and looked out at the cold night.
"It's cold out. You can take my jacket." Robie offered.
"Thanks!" I replied and grabbed the jacket and slipped it on. It was actually pretty warm.
"Come Lyla." I said and Lyla followed me out the door. I walked for a long time. I can't believe on how crazy my freshman year has been. But why? I turned a corner. Got a flash of fern hair. Her the sound of a bullet being fired and I was blasted back into darkness.
