When I got outside I pulled Lyla out of my back pack and set her on the ground. Lyla's a trained cat, she knows a too stay by me.
"Step one is going back to where Casey was kidnapped." I said and started walking. Meow. Girl you're insane! You're going to get in so much trouble! Lyla said as she caught up to me.
"I know but I have a good cause." I replied. When I got to Autumn Trail the police had arrived and were inspecting the sene. I crouched behind the building next to it. A peered out at them. My eyes darted around looking for something, anything that might give me more clues. My eyes landed on something near the wall next to me. It was a crowbar, it was stained red. I picked it up and there was something scratched into it.
Dear Diana:
Prom for Casey.
1327, Lunar Road MN 5589.
I set the crowbar down an fled south. Me-ow. What? Did you find out who did it? Lyla asked as she ran beside me.
"I have a hunch. And I can't tell if I hope I'm wrong or I'm praying that I'm right." I replied. Meow? Wait what does that mean? Lyla said and we ran through the night. Lunar Road, Lunar Road. I thought as I scanned the signs. I spotted it and Casey's sent did tell me she was down Lunar Road. Or at least she was recently. I crossed the road and continued on. Meow? How long have we been running? Lyla asked.
"I don't know." I answered. Meow. I'm a little tired could you carry me? I held out my arms and Lyla jumped into them. Lyla climed onto my shoulder and rested her head near my neck. Good kitty. I thought. I followed Casey's sent to a gas station where I sat down and had some food. I decided to sit in someone's open trunk because why not when two men came over to the car. It yelped and fell into the trunk and the trunk closed on me. No. No. No. I pushed on the trunk to try and open it but somehow it was locked already. The two men got in there car and started the engine. Lyla rubbed her face against my cheek.

I don't know what these guys are doing with there lives but it was NOT worth me being stuck in there trunk. I was about to scream for help when I caught a piece of what one of the men was saying.
"Hey did ya her 'bout that kidnappin' of that Casey girl?" The first man said.
"Yeah, wasn't the rumored place the kidnapper was keeping her in downtown Lunar Road where we're headed?" The second man said. Maybe this could play to my favor. I thought, so I kept quiet. But downtown Lunar Road was FOREVER away! Lunar Road was a particularly big city. I herd the engine start up one finale time and drive off. Well, no going back now. I thought. But if their rumor is true that Casey could be in downtown Lunar road, I could get there faster this way. Guess I'm going on a little road trip! ...In some random guy's trunk. Oh man. Mom's gonna kill me. It felt like I was in the trunk for HOURS! They two guys most of the time just listened to some trendy pop music. At least they have a good taste in music. I thought. (Meow. How long are you planning to be in here? Their BOUND to notice you sometime!) Lyla said so quietly I could barely hear it.
"Until we're in downtown Lunar Road." I whispered back. Again it felt like hours! I had to pee SO bad. I looked around. There was a plastic bottle. NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! BIG BAG OF NOPE! I thought, there was no way I was doing that. I'll try and hold it. Eventually the guys stopped at a gas station again and I used one of my knives to pry a little peep hold through the back seat. I was starving, but food will have to wait I need to get to a bathroom!

I looked through my new peep hole, it was day out. Ahhh! My parents would have noticed I was gone by now! Oh well. I herd somewhere online that If you snip one of the wires from inside the trunk. The trunk will pop open. Worth a shot. I grabbed one of my knives. I crept fawned to a vain of wires once the two men got out of the car. Meow? Are you sure this is a good idea? Lyla asked next to me.
"I have a basic understanding of machines." I replied.
"Besides in the movies, it's always a choice between the red or blue wire. So we might as well look for those." I scanned the wires. Green, Orange, purple, pink. What the F was a purple and pink wire doing here. I thought.
"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." I said. Meow. There's no red or blue wire. Lyla said.
"THERE'S ALWAYS A RED OR BLUE WIRE!" I shot back. Meow! Well SORRY! It's not my fault the car makers didn't put a label on the inside of their car saying: hey! If you wish to escape from this trunk PLEASE CUT THID GOD DAM WIRE! Lyla retorted.
"You're NOT helping!" I snapped. Suddenly I herd the two men get back in their car.
"Hey how much longer?" The first man said.
"Just another day and we'll be in downtown Lunar Road." The second man replied and he started up the engine. Another F-in DAY! I thought. I still needed to go to the bathroom. Looked back at the empty water bottle and picked it up. We meet again. I thought grimy. I inhaled and used the water bottle. I mean I guess desperate times call for desperate measures.

I honestly don't know what I'm going to tell my parents when I get home. Hey mom! I spent a day and a half in some random dude's trunk and saved my friend after she got kidnapped. Yep. I was definitely gonna be dead. For the whole ride my legs felt numb, and I had gotten sweaty from being in a sweater in a small space and because that's what bodies do. Finally I herd the car stop. I peeked out of my peephole it was night time. I checked my phone. It was 12:00AM. Crap! I was screwed.
"We're here!" I herd the second man said. And I herd them exit the car. Ok I needed to figure how to do this wire thing. After great puzzlement I decided to just cut ALL of them! I cut the green wire, and the orange wire. But when I cut the purple wire the trunk popped open. Well what'ya know! I thought. I grabbed Lyla and jumped out. I probably looked like a homeless person. I looked around, I was at a hotel apparently. Well that's nice to know. I thought. I rummaged around and apparently I had $50 chilling in this backpack. Wow. That should be enough to get me a night if I need it. But back to mission. Where do I need to go? I thought back to the crowbar. 1327 Lunar Road, MN 5589. I spotted a town house that read 1330 on it. Oh yeah! So I'm close. I thought. And crossed the road over to the house. I looked at the house to right. 1329. I continued to walk right with Lyla tailing me. Meow. Wow. You really are insane to be storing away in a random guys trunk for your friend. Lyla remarked.
"She could be in danger!" I replied.

1328... 1327! This is it!
"Oooohhhhh." It was a giant warehouse. Perfect. I picked up Lyla and quietly opened the back door and squeezed through. I quietly tip toed down the halls for a little bit following Casey's sent. Until I herd the sound of muffled screams. I rounded a corner and there she was. Casey was duck taped upright to a walk with a piece covering her mouth. And standing right next to her was Wyatt.
