The sad reality of this. Only in movies do you see people getting stuck in a meat freezer, and to add to that idiocy, you were only wearing a thin layered tank top. You were going to freeze and get hypothermia. At least you were with your boyfriend!
"M-M-Minseok, u-use your ice p-powers!" you moaned into his T shirt.
"I-It's all a l-lie!" he replied.
Huddling even closer together for warmth, you sat at the warmest place, the door that was jammed.
You looked up at him, but he shook his head and hushed you.
"Save your breath and keep warm."
You nodded. Your hands were turning pale and numb. Xiumin probably felt worse considering he was the person that was cuddling you close inside his chest.
After what seemed like years, you prodded at Xiumin.
"A-Are we going to d-d-d-die here?"
No response. His eyes were shut and flustered, you threw your ears to his chest, hoping for any sign of life.
"X-Xiumin! Wake up!"
Tears cascaded down your frozen cheeks and he furrowed his eyebrows.
"Don't c-cry honey, I'm f-f-f-fine! Don't w-worry about me. We'll get out of here s-soon. Just wait, wait and s-see."
Nodding again, you wasn't sure whether this was an empty promise, full of lies, or a truthful one. Instead, you cupped his face with your hands and opening his frost-tipped eyelashes, he looked at you tiredly.
"Promise m-me w-we'll g-g-get out of here."
"I promise." he whispered.
