Y/n's pov
I was at the back of the school house all alone. No one really talked to because they thought I was weird. I've grown a habit though. I talk to myself to make me feel less lonley. "Such a beautiful day" I picked up a small rose that had been growing there for a while. I put it in my hair. "It looks gorgeous on you" A voice that come from behind. I slightly jolted up. "Sorry I didn't mean to scare you" I've seen him in class before but don't really remember his name. He's very handsome. "Do you talk to yourself often? " He asked. I blushed deep red looking down. "Yes I do.. " I said still not looking up. The bell rang. "Oh.. We must get going, don't want to be late do we.. " I quickly packed up my things and headed inside.

Class went by fast and everyone was out of the door. Before everyone left though Josie took the chance to tell everybody that their playing spin the bottle. During class I felt a pair of eyes on me. I didn't dare to look. As soon as I got home I went upstairs to do my homework. After dinner I went straight to bed. The next morning was normal. I walked to school alone like I did everyday. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping. It was a beautiful day. I got to class and began to read a book. "Hey... I got you an apple. Their from the orchard. " I look up from my book to see gilbert with a red apple in his hand. I kindly smiled and took it. "Thank you.. " My voice barely above a whisper. He smiled and walked away. The bell rang and class started. Like yesterday I felt a pair of eyes on me but this time it wasn't just one.

As soon as class ended everyone gathered in a room. "Alright everyone, you will soon the bottle and you must kiss the person you land on. Only in the opposite gender though" Said Josie. I ended up being squished between Anne and Cole. "Umm Diana why don't you go first" Diana's hesitant at first but grabs the bottle and spins it. It lands on moody. They both stand up and went to the middle of the circle. "Good evening moody" " Good evening Diana" It looked so awkward. "I'm going to kiss you now" Moody said slightly leaning in . He pecked her lips and both sat back down. "Now... How about you y/n?" Josie said. I slowly grab the bottle and spun it. It slowed down and stopped. I turned my head to see who it was. Gilbert!?. I felt my cheeks heat up. I stood up and walked to the middle of the circle. There stood gilbert his face inches away from mine.. Well this is going to be interesting.
Third person~
Everyone in the room was quiet. Ruby looking like she would break down any minute. Josie looked mad. Gilbert lightly grabbed her waist and pulled he in until their lips were barely touching. He connected it and all y/n felt was butterfly's in her stomach. She didn't care about anyone. It was just them. The pull away after a few seconds. Ruby runs out and Josie took off after her. The boys cheered and the girls ran after Ruby except anne and Diana. Y/n just looked shocked. She went back to her seat in the classroom.
Y/n's pov
I can't believe I just kissed gilbert blythe. I lightly brush my hand against my lips slightly smiling. My thoughts were interrupted by the bell ringing. Everybody came back to class. Ruby was still crying. I didn't feel bad at all. Her dibs were getting out of hand. If I were a guy I wouldn't want to be had dibs on.

Class passed by fairly quickly. I was about to go home when I was stopped at the door way by none other than Ruby and Josie. "Where do you think your going? " Josie asked pushing me back a little. "Home.. " I said trying not to show the fear in my voice. I knew what Josie can do and I didn't want to be in this position right now. "Why did you kiss gilbert blythe , you know Ruby had dibs on him but still kissed him. There there Ruby that girl doesn't know any better" "I-" I was cut off by the man himself. "Excuse me but me and y/n will b on our way " Josie looked so shocked. He put his arm around my shoulder guiding me out the door. I didn't dare look up. I was red. What if he saw that. That would be so embarrassing. We quietly started walking home but I broke the silence. "Thank you again gilbert... " I said finally looking up to meet his eyes. He smiled. "I really can't believe she still is obsessed with me. It's been three years" He laughed a little. I just giggled. Soon we got home. I was about to grab my door handle when gilbert grabbed my wrist "i-y/n I just wanted to say I enjoyed the kiss" I blushed "I did too" Before I could say anything else. He brought his hand up to my cheek and brushed it with his thumb. He leaned in and so did I. Our lips meet. The same feeling came back. Butterflies. We pull apart both of us blushing. "Goodnight gilbert" I learned my fore head against his. "Good night y/n"
