Y/n's pov
It was my fifteenth birthday and when you turn fifteen you get a small tattoo on your wrist and it matches with ur soulmate's tattoo. After the party I went to my room to get to some comfy clothes and take a warm shower. While I was laying in bed watching Netflix I glanced at my wrist and saw a small butterfly. I didn't think it would show up so quickly. After looking at it for awhile sleep took over my vision.

I woke up with light shining in my face. I heard mom calling for me so I quickly changed and went downstairs. I saw my mom in the kitchen making some breakfast. "Oh finally your awake here come eat breakfast . We have to pick up one of my friends sons. " She said passing me some pancakes. "And why do have to do that. " I said clearly annoyed. "Young lady stop that right now and she's going for a business trip and doesn't want him to be home alone" She said while washing the plates.
Time skip after breakfast
I was in the car with my headphones on. I closed my eyes and relaxed until we got there. After 20 minutes or so we arrived and got of the car. My mother knocked on the door and I stood behind her patiently waiting. The door opened to reveal a pale woman with black hair and brown eyes. "M/n it's been so long! " She exclaimed. We said hello then want inside. I was sitting on the couch when I heard foot steps coming down the stairs. I saw a boy who looked about my age and I'm assuming he's the son. "Nathan, so nice of you to join us. You'll be staying with my friend and her daughter for a few days "his mom said while he sat down next to me. I take a closer look at him and he's kinda cute to. Ooo maybe a few days won't be so bad. " Hi! I'm y/n. It's so nice e to finally meet you! "I said sticking out my hand so he can shake it. He looked at it and rolled his eyes. Okay! I take it back this is going to be like living with a devil. Shortly after his mom left and we drove to our house. The whole ride I stayed silent and so did he the only one talking was my mom. When we arrived I quickly went to my room not wanting to be asked any questions by anyone. After a few hours of locking myself in my room I had to go down for dinner.
Third person pov
When everyone was at the table it was very quiet except for M/n starting some small talk with Nathan. While Y/n was silently glaring at him. Nathan could feel it. And somehow M/n didn't notice at all. Dinner was done and both the teen s went back to their rooms.
Nathan's pov
I couldn't believe what I saw that morning. The girl that I was staying with Y/n I think had the same tattoo as me. When she reached out to shake my hand that's when I saw it. I mean it couldn't be right! There must be a mistake. I mean she already hates me. I made a plan that I would talk to her tonight and tell her about it. Maybe I should apologize too?...
Y/n's pov
I was binging 13 reasons why when I heard a soft knock on my door. I looked at the time and it was 1:09. I knew it wasn't my mom because she would've been asleep already. I tip toed to the door and carefully turned the door nob. I opened it to see a messy haired Nathan. "Hi? " I asked in an annoyed tone. "Hey, I'm sorry about this morning and I just have something to tell you... Do you mind if I come in? " He asked rubbing the back of his neck. Well, he did apologize I guess it wouldn't hurt to be nice. "Yea sure.. " I said a small smile forming on my face. I sat down on my bed and he did the same. "So.. I see y-uour tattoo appeared early" He said stuttering a bit. I said nothing. Silence ..... "Okay! Look... " He said slightly raising his voice causing me to jump. He moved his wrist towards me. I take a closer look and saw the same rose that I had on his wrist. My eyes widen of shock. "Y-you!? " That was all I could say. I couldn't believe it. M-my soulmate was him..
