Third-person pov
A girl with (h/c) sat in the corner of a white room. Her name was y/n. She was an orphan.
She was planning on running away from this horrible orphanage.
Her plan was to run out of the gate when it opened. It would be open in a few mins.
The guard came out of a room and opened the gate.
As soon as it fully opened y/n sprinted out of the opening.
She heard voices yelling after her but she ignored them.
She ran for a few minutes and the voices slowly disappeared.
She stopped but then she heard a voice coming from behind yelling for her.
She looked behind to see a boy with brown hair about her age.
She couldn't risk being sent back to the orphanage so she ran as fast as she could.
The boy kept yelling but she didn't stop.
She quickly hid behind a tree trying to catch her breath.
Then she heard footsteps coming her way.
She closed her eyes and brought her knees to her chest.
'This was it. She didn't even make it one day' She thought to herself.
The footsteps got louder as te got closer to her.
She dug her nails into her skin scared.
She felt a presence in front of her.
"Hey... It's okay. Your safe" She heard the voice say softly putting a hand on her shoulder.
She looked up and saw a boy about her age or maybe older.
"Dad!" He yelled. Another figure came running to where they were sitting.
The man which she assumed was his father was shocked.
"Honey... Are you alright?" He said looking at her arms and legs seeing scars.
"Please don't take me back there" She began to sob not wanting to go back.
"We won't, I promise. Can you come with us?" he asked softly trying not to scare her.
Y/n was hesitant at first but soon nodded accepted.
The boy and his father brought her to a car and led her inside.
When she got in they start driving. The drive was short and they arrived at a house.
