so, i don't know if you were aware but

i am not a fan of selena at all. it's sad because i used to really like her back when she was on disney ( wizards of waverley place was my show ) and earlier on in her career but honestly, as the years went by the more i stopped liking her.

however, i don't just hate for no reason. i have plenty so today i am going to share them with you. i've seen so many people refer to her as "unproblematic" which is not the case, so lemme educate y'all who still stan her.

1. BLACK LIVES MATTER

does anything else about this need to be said? nope.

EDIT: some people have said that she donated money to blm, but i looked into it and that was apparently proven to be false. "you don't know what i do", nothing. you do nothing at all. she also said that blm was about choosing sides so fuck her x1000. I don't get why people can't understand why this is potentially harmful. she's downplaying the movement by reducing it to a hashtag. her using the blm hashtag with the following she has could help take the movement another step in the right direction, but instead she's choosing to belittle it. 

2. SHE ALLOWS HER FANS TO BULLY OTHERS

when stefano called selena ugly:

"omg i can't believe stefano called selena ugly"
"@ stefano : selena is beautiful!"
"how can he call her ugly? she's stunning!"
"he obviously is blind"
"@ stefano that was so out of order"

when justin announced his engagement to hailey;

"selena > hailey"
"jelena > jailey"
"JUSTIN LOVES SELENA"
"ugly hoe"
"selena is prettier"
"justin knows deep down that he loves selena"
"justin downgraded"

i'm sorry but you can't go and cry when someone calls your idol ugly but then go do that to someone else? no one deserves to be called ugly or get hate on social media.

all of her fans are also very toxic and start drama with other fandoms (eg. beliebers, arianators, even swifties)

(this is not directed at all at every selenator, just a lot that i've seen on hailey's post say things like this. i've met some very nice selenators, but some just go to far ... but also remember that supporting someone like this makes u just as bad <333)
