my unpopular marvel opinions part 2

61. Carol > Wanda
but Scarlet Witch > Captain Marvel

62. I can't wait for Carol and Monica to interact again. Like tf happened between them that got Monica so triggered when she was mentioned 😭 I think it's because she wasn't around when Maria died but idk I kinda find that hard to believe. (I love the theory that Carol cut her hair bc Maria probably lost hers to treatment but I don't think it's true) + think if the Brie & Teyonah content ... I must have it

63. Ryan Coogler and Taika Waititi are the best MCU directors in my opinion.

64. Wanda and Clints friendship made no sense. He literally despises Loki for mind controlling him but is there for Wanda when she did the same to the rest of them?

65. Gamora is underrated. She's fucking badass, appreciate her in all her glory.

66. As much as I actually like Clint, saying "He has a family and kids" isn't a strong argument as to why it should have been Natasha. There are multiple reasons why it should have been Nat or Clint, but Tony also had a kid (kids🥺) and a family and he died. Natasha's family where the Avengers, Fury, and her family from Russia that we'll see in the BW movie. But you can't blame Clint either because he tried to sacrifice himself but Nat wouldn't let him.

67. I don't ship Cap and Peggy

68. This isn't really underrated but Scott deserves more credit for his part in Endgame. If it wasn't for him they'd have had no idea about time travel for Tony to be able to help with.

69. As much as I hate that Tony died (he deserved to retire and be w his family😭), it was a really good ending to his character arc because it highlights how he went from selfish to selfless perfectly.

70. I hope they explain what happened to Ava Starr in Quantamania. When Scott got stuck in the quantam realm it was whilst looking for particles to keep her alive, without them she wouldn't have lasted longer than a few weeks if even that. So unless she disappeared in the snap as well, she's probably dead :(

71. Loki and Sif defo had a thing. No one can change my mind.

72. Idris Elba was underused as Heimdell. He deserved to be in it longer considering he was one of their most powerful characters. I feel like he would have been a great addition to MoM.

73. Most of the Avengers treated Tony like shit. He got all the blame for Ultron while Bruce got off easy despite helping him, and no one punished Wanda for putting the idea into his head, making it her fault. Tony didn't have the idea himself, Wanda put it there.

74. To me, Steve was the most boring and bland of the original 6 🤷🏼‍♀️ I know Hemsworth was joking when he said Cap was predicable but he wasn't wrong.

75. Kraglin is underrated af. He was funny and i really hope he's in Vol.3

76. Yondu and his arrow would have slaughtered Thanos and his army.

77. I actually thing the new Fantastic Four would be a great addition to the MCU, provided it's done right. The 2005 FF with Evans and Alba was the best, and I kind hope Jessica Alba plays Susan Storm again.

78. This probably isn't unpopular just not really talked about? The  diversity like in the Eternals cast is long overdue and it better continue throughout the rest of the MCU. Marvel have made a lot of progress with making Sam Captain America, introducing Monica as Photon, Rhodey getting Armour Wars, but they still have a long way to go with diversity and i really hope they put in the effort.

79. Maria Hill had potential to be an Avenger rather than just working for S.H.I.E.L.D.

81. They should have just had Steve be the one to snap because his ending, whilst it had a good shock factor, sucked.

82. Dr Strange was sidelined in Endgame. Like he can do so much more than just hold back a waterfall they shoulda found someone else to do it 😭 they really put the Avengers down a player

83. Nebula deserved to be the one to kill Thanos after the way he treated her.

84. Rocket is clearly traumatised by his past but it was barely even acknowledged expect for briefly in GOTG2.

85. Drax & Mantis are the funniest out of the Guardians (besides maybe Rocket)

86. Amora / Enchantress needs to be added to the MCU.

87. The Spider-Man movies are so overrated. Some people really make it their only personality treat💀 FFH is one of the best MCU films to me, Homecoming was also good but in comparison to FFH it could have been a lot better.

88. AOU, WV and CW Wanda were all really annoying.

89. Pepper was insensitive about Tony's anxiety attacks.

90. They might as well have all just signed the Sokovia Accords because they never made a huge impact beyond the fighting between the Avengers over signing and not signing.

91. CA:TFA wasn't brilliant but not awful. It was one of the only movies I liked Steve.

92. Steve constantly complained about Tony being selfish and ridiculed him for him when in reality he's just as selfish and has a just as big - if not bigger - ego.

93. This is more so a cast thing than an MCU thing but most Edward Norton's Hulk stans are unnecessarily rude about Mark's performance as Bruce Banner. Commenting on "lack of displayed emotion" (which personally, I disagree with, I think he did a really good job as Banner & Hulk considering what he had to work with), is uncalled for. It's not his fault considering half of his face was paralysed for a while due to a brain tumour.

94. ^^^ following on from that, Ruffalo is the better Banner & Hulk. The Incredible Hulk could have been a good movie but Norton gave a mediocre performance.

95. The made Hulk unbelievably weak for absolutely no reason.

96. Whiplash was actually a pretty villain.

97. Peter & Liz > Peter & MJ

98. Stevetony shippers really pulled that ship out of their ass. They very obviously clash as co-works/"friends" so they'd be a very very toxic ship.

99. Natasha and Thor didn't have enough interactions. He was the one most bothered by her death and he had the least scenes with her. They could have made such a great friendship.

100. Riri isnt a knock off Tony and people should stop treating her as such
