Chapter 12: So long 1994

"Waky waky," Kai says energetically then opens the curtains, "fuck off," I cover my eyes with one of my hands, "ok then, guess I will just leave without you," he says in a fake sad tone, "wait we are leaving today?" My body shot up from the bed, "duh," he rolls his eyes at my question, "stop being mean Parker, or I won't shower with you," I give him a fake smile, "I thought you vampires are all about saving water," he walks towards me and pushes me down on the mattress starts tickling me, "stop alright I will take a shower with you," I said while giggling and rolling on the bed. Kai carries me bridal style again and starts walking towards the bathroom.

Honestly I haven't walk that much ever since... You know.

I put on a AC/DC oversized t shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans after coming out of the bathroom, "wait is that my shirt?" Kai asks me after he got dressed, "yea, you have a problem with that?" I tilt my head looking at him, "no no, it looks better on you anyway," he starts blushing as he speaks, 'ok what is wrong with this guy, I don't remember slipping drugs into his drink,' I thought to myself, then I walk out of the room leaving him packing his things in the bedroom.

Kai made us some blueberry pancakes as usual, we start walking towards the cave after finished packing and everything.

"What are we?" Kai suddenly asks me while walking, "supernaturals," I said nonchalantly, "are you serious?" He stops walking and looks at me dead in the eyes, "friends, obviously," I rolled my eyes then starts walking again, he grabs me by my wrist out of the blue, I hiss in pain as the orange red glow appears, "Kai, you are hurting me," I wiggle my wrist but he is not letting go of me.

I start feeling weaker as he continues to siphon from me, then everything around me turned black.

"What on earth?" I wake up on the couch in a random house, "Damon?" I said while rubbing the back of my neck, "are you alright?" He walks towards me, "yea, where's Kai?" I get back up on my feet, "don't know, I went out with Stefan this morning, and you were lying on the couch unconsciously when we got back," Damon shrugs his shoulders.

'God I must've hurt his feelings when I said those things to him,' I thought to myself.

I look around the house and realized this is not Mystic Falls, "why are we not at Mystic Falls?" I look at Damon, "there's a spell that kept supernaturals away from the town, a bunch of travelers casted it," Damon explains.

"Where are you going?" I heard Damon's voice as I walking towards the door, "going to feed," I said then shut the door behind me.

I walk to the alley at the back of a small restaurant, "is that how you treat a lady?" I said to a man who's harassing a young girl, "who the fuck are you? Get away from us," he yells at me, "let her go first," "no," he said, then I walk to the man and pin him against the wall, he tries to fight me but I am way stronger than him, I give the young girl a nod, she gives me a grateful smile then she ran away from us.

After seeing her ran to the main street, I look at the man in the eyes, "don't scream," I said to him before I sank my fangs into his neck, a few seconds of feeding violently, his heads fell off on the ground, 'do it right by his name', Kai's voice starts ringing in my head.

I backed off from the dead body and wipe off the blood on my chin, 'he was a bad guy anyway, a waste of natural resources,' I thought to myself before putting his body in the huge bin.

My phone starts ringing in my pocket, I pull it out and seeing Damon is calling me, "we need you back in the house now, Kai just attacked Elena and me in the cemetery," Damon says from the other side of the line, "ok, see you in five." I hang up the phone, but I regret it immediately, there's nothing appropriate to say to him after what happened.

Sorry for hurting your feelings and having commitment issues?

I walked back to the house as soon as possible, "what happened?" I look at Elena and Damon, "how the hell, I thought you were dead," Elena's mouth hung open, "shut up, just tell me what happened, where is he now?" I look at Damon, "he found us in the cemetery, and he attacked Liv too, he is in Mystic Falls now, just be careful, we don't know what is he gonna do," Damon said in a serious tone which is rare.

I give him a nod, "I'm gonna go to Whitmore, Caroline is waiting or me," I said to both of them before I left, since I can't go back to Mystic Falls now, Caroline was nice enough to compel me an extra dorm room for myself in her university, which is not far from this town.

"Knock knock," I said while knocking on her door, "come in!" I heard her little exciting scream, as soon as I open the door, she pulls me into a giant hug, "I miss you so much!" She says while squeezing my body, "I miss you too!" I said and return the hug, we were really close before I died, she even cried when Elena put that white oak stake in my heart, and I always have a soft spot for her ever since I first met her, I mean it's Caroline, I get why brother was fawning over her so hard before, I even low key shipped me and her. Yea too much info.

We broke the hug, she looks at me with a giant grin on her face, "come on, I will show you your dorm, it's not far from mine, just a couple doors away," she says while swinging a key in her hand, "thank you Care," I look at her with a smile.

She opens the door and revealing a nice, tidy room, "wow, did you organize this place?" I turn around looking at her, "of course I did, I even got this teddy bear for you, and all the girls necessities too," she says as she picks up the stuffed toy from the bed, "wow, thank you so much Care," I look at her with a giant genuine smile on my face.

"You are more than welcome easter bunny, anyway I am gonna leave you alone for a while, you know where to find me if you need me," she gives me a wink, "same for you too Care," I give her a small smile before she leaves me in my room.
