Alexithymia: the inability to express your feelings

A few months later, Kai and I are still in Hawaii, he perfected the spell and I am still a vampire, just with a swollen belly. "Wow you look fat," Kai looks at me as I walk to the pool in my bikinis, "thanks for the confidence boost Parker, and it is baby bump you idiot," I said then push him into the pool, "oh so those are what they called baby bump in those books?" He looks at me from the pool, "yea, wait what book?" I didn't know Kai Parker could read. "You know, those books that shows you the growing process of a cell, like they will put a photo of a cell during different time period, like 3 months is a size of grape blah blah blah," he keeps rambling as he climb out of the pool, "you mean pregnancy books?" I look at him while blocking the sunlight.
"Yes," Kai said in a loud voice then fist bumped me, "when did you start reading them?" I asked him, "since when we first found out the spell has worked," he answered me casually, then I started crying, "ok I think this is normal during pregnancy," Kai said while observing. He pulls me into his arms and start stroking my back, "can you wait here for a second?" He suddenly pulls away from the hug, I give him a nod then he vamp speeds to the room.
A few second later he came back with a teddy bear in his hands, Hope gave this to me when we visited her a while back, she calls her Stella, "better now?" Kai said and hands Stella to me, "no, why you never told me about reading pregnancy books before?" I hit his chest, "well, I didn't think it was big deal back then, sorry baby," then I start crying more after hearing what he just said, "what is it? Are you not feeling well?" He bent down and starts scanning my body. "I'm fine, why are you so nice to me?" I said during whimpers, he pulls me into his arms gently, "because you are my wife, the love of my life, the mother of my children, speaking of, we should be on our way right now or else we would be late for the doctor appointment, we are finding out the genders today, remember?" He looks at me softly, I give him a nod then we got back to the house.
He drove us to the doctor's office, after everything is done, I walk out of the room. "One bad news and one good news, which one first?" I look at him nervously, "bad news, are you alright?" Kai starts spinning me around and scanning my body, "I'm alright, you are right, it's twins, one girl and one boy, the good news is they are both healthy," I said standing in front of him. "They are both good news, although you are going to push out 2 babies at once, which is more work for you, but they are all good news, why would you think having twins is bad, sweetheart?" Kai lifts up my chin gently.
I let out a small sigh, "the merge, and you won't be the leader anymore after 22 years," I said quietly, "sweetheart I don't give a fuck about the leadership, and I promise you we will find something to break the curse, we won't lose either of them," Kai said softly, suddenly he fell onto the ground.
"Tristan? How are you still alive? I thought the Hollow killed you," I look at him with fear in my eyes, "don't be scared love, they did but the ancestor brought me back," he said as he steps closer to me, "what do you want?" I said then I was about to run but he was faster than me, "revenge for my sister of course." It's the last thing I heard.
I opened my eyes seeing I was being tied up to a chair, and we are in a small room, "you are awake, I had to say pregnant belly doesn't really suit you," he said while pacing around me, "just get to the point Tristan," I start groaning in pain as he shot me with wooden bullets, "this is the point," he clenches his jaws at me, "kill me then," I rolled my eyes at him, "that would be too good for you right darling?" He slaps me harshly making my head turned away.
My body was wash over by the excruciating pain as he stabs my belly with a long wooden stake, then I passed out from the pain...
By the time I woke up again, I saw my wounds are all healed, the only difference is my stomach is flat again, "what did you do?" I look at him horrified of what is he going to say next, "just got rid of the twins for you, I mean it's better for you anyway, so you wouldn't have to lose one of them two decades later, you should thank me really, I did you a favor." He pats my shoulder then stabbed me again with another stake, "let her go." A familiar voice appeared behind us.
"Time for you to join the party, Kai, or should I say Malachai," Tristan turns around facing him, a few seconds later, I heard Kai starts chanting, Tristan fell on his knees as he starts screaming in pain. He rushes towards Kai but Kai was faster, he chanted something then pulls out his heart from Tristan's chest. I felt the burning sensations around my wrists are gone, "Kai," I whisper as he carries me in his arms, "everything is fine now sweetheart, I'm here now, we are going home," Kai said softly before he walks out and put me on the back seat.
I woke up and finding myself lying on the bed at our house in Hawaii, "hey, how are you feeling?" Kai suddenly appears in front of me, "I don't know, I'm just, tired," I said weakly then felt a drop of tear slide across my temple. "I'm sorry sweetheart, I should've got there sooner," Kai starts crying too. "Hey, this is not your fault, alright? I love you baby," I whisper while wiping away his tear, "come here," I pat the space next to me, he got under the blanket with me, "I love you too, just tell me how to make you feel better, I will do anything for you," he said softly then I felt his tears wetting my shirt, "first, stop crying," I let out a small chuckle, "second, just stay here with me, I'm really tired right now," I whisper in his arms.
"Okay, just tell me if you need anything, you are safe now, I cloaked the house, I should've done it earlier, I'm sorry," Kai said after plating a small kiss on my lips, "thank you, and it's not your fault stop blaming yourself, we will have kids again dummy," I snuggle closer to him, "wait what?" Kai looks at me, "I said we will have kids again, a few years later," I lift my head up looking at him, "you are willing to go through those again?" He asked me, "yes, for you," then I kissed him on his chest softly, "ok only if you want kids for yourself too," he said whilst stroking my back, "I do, shut up I'm trying to sleep," I said with a smile, "ok then, good night babe," he kisses my forehead again, "good night Baymax."
