The scene opened to Pyrrha gearing up in a locker room. As she walked out of the locker room, she sparred with Cardin Winchester and his team. She kept the upper hand with holding team CRDL off balance, attacked while she dodged and defelected attacks. The match ended after the last man Cardin fell onto his back. Glynda approaches from behind Cardin who clutched his ribs.
Glynda: And that's the match.
Cardin: Lucky shot. *collapses*
Maira: Lucky shot!? Come on, you and your team weren't able to hit her one time!
Azura nodded, but Byleth didn't listen but starred at a ring he held in his hand.

A few days after "Paintin The Town", his team and Professor Peach had a mission to extract a new sort of plant, she assumed to know. In when they landed, they saw that it was Byleth's old village that was now nothing more than a ruin. They searched for the plant and found it-much to Prof. Peache's pleassure. She ripped it out but the plant let out a mist of sweet smell that resembled the sap from the trees in Forever Fall Forest. They stood still when they heard loud stampings and a inhuman roar. The noices came nearer and they saw a huge Grimm with the body of a lizard with five heads.

They had some trouble to defeat it, but Maira gave the Hydra the rest. She grabbed it by the tail, threw it in the air. It landed with a loud crash on an old house and Azura who swang her lance around, controlled the water to restrain the Grimm. Byleth reacted quick, jumped into the air, pierced the Grimm with his blade in it's chest and burned it with his Semblance. After the fight, Peach collected so many plants as she could with stars in her eyes for enthusiasm and before they headed to the Bulleye, Byleth noticed something shiny and picked it up. His eyes widened when he saw that it was the ring from his parents. He stuck the ring into his pocket and catched up with the rest. He still remembered that not only team RWBY but also team JNPR accepted him, no matter what the others thought about him. And that felt... nice. His mind got interrupted when he heard Glynda say:
Glynda: Well done, Miss Nikos. You should have no problem qualifying for the tournament.
