Chapter 1 - What have I done?

Main focus on: Pearl the Espeon

Featuring: Pearl the Espeon, Black the Umbreon and Silvia the Sylveon

It was a nice day as the sun is shining on the bright fur of a Espeon reading a Book. Pearl has just finished all her chores for today and started relaxing and reading a good book at the backyard.

A romance novel she wanted to read for a long time now, and with every second, she enjoys it more and more.

It took only some Time till she's completely sucked in the wonderful story.

,,Man, this book is great. I can't wait to see what they will witness together!"

Then, a well known female voice instantly melted away her connection with the book.

„Man Black, that was fun. I can't believe we are getting free cake for one month now! I didn't know you are this good at math!" Silvia said to the Umbreon happily

„Well, it wasn't that hard to find out the number of Jellybeans in that glass jar. The Competition was kinda dumb to be honest." the Umbreon says slightly smiling

Pearls sensitive ears can hear every word of the nearby voices. The psychic-type tries to shake of the incoming frustration, but it doesn't really work. Her stomach starts hurting.

„Maybe. But Still, I thank you so much!" Sylvia says and hugs him

„Hehe, no problem. As long as you are Happy!" Black says

„I am!" the Sylveon answers with sparkling, child-like eyes

Pearl goes closer and closer to the ground. She know she should not even listen to this conversation, but she just could not help it. Even thought she loved both of them when being alone with one, seeing or hearing them together was making the house owner extremely uncomfortable.

It like her body left her seat on it's own.

She then hides behind a wall.

„Ok Black, don't mess this up!" Black thinks to himself

„I got you something!" the Umbreon said

With one carefull grip in his brown leather bag he pulls out a necklace.

„For you!" he says with focused look

Sylveon takes the necklace and carefully watches it. It was a silver- metal- necklace with her face as the pendant, smiling while winking.

The eyes of the white-pink-furred Eevee widen and sparkle so much that she could have lighten one or two cities.

„Wow, it's so Beautiful. I absolutely love it Black! You are so awesome!"

„Hehe, I am so glad that you like it. Let me put it around your neck!"

He gently takes it between his teeth and puts it arounds Silvia neck-region.

„How do I look?" she asks happily 

„Even cuter then I thought you would!" the Umbreon responds with calm and gentle voice


The pokemon behind the wall could not believe it. Her claws scratch the cold stone of the wall harder and harder.

Angry thoughts starts swarming in her mind.

„Ridiculous. Why would someone need to wear his own necklace? That is not cute, this is just dumb.(I change face to necklace I don't know what was that supposed to mean but Idc)

It just makes her look silly!"


However, the worst is yet to come.


„So, Silvia, you know, we went out together this often, that now, I wanted to ask, if we could ..like... go on a date?" Black asked with full cocentration

Silvia face lost her smile.

Nearby, a shock for life took place in Pearls heart.

„No, it can't be!" Pearl mumbles

„A date? You wanna take me out?" Silvia asks unbelieving


„Yea, I had so much fun in our time together. I really, really like you. I understand if you say no thought!"

The Sylveon lets her thoughts circle for a moment seconds.


„No....NO! Say no! Say it! You can't take him away from me!" Pearl mumble angrily 

„Yeah, why not?" comes out of her mouth followed by a sweet expression.

With that, the Espeon, along with all her hopes, crashes to the ground.


„Yes!"

Unusually happy, Black quickly jumps in excitment.

Silvia chuckles.

However, the amusing mood would not hold for long, as they see an extremly mad looking Espeon walking right towards them.

„Oh hello Big sis!" Silvia says waving her paw, unaware of her expression.

„Pearl, what are you doing he..."

Before he could finish, Pearl landed a hard slap on Black cheek.

„Big sis....why?" Silvia asks in shock

All Sylveon earns with that is a mad look of her „big-sister".

With tears in her eyes Pearl then stares back at her admired Umbreon.

„How? How could you? You know...you know I love you!" she shouted angrily 

Black doesn't hesistate firing back.

„See, this is what you always do! You love me? Well, sorry I don't appreciate being buried under boxes, or being shackled helpless, or the countless other stupid actions you did since we live together. Was this supposed to make me fall in love with you? I tell you what, each time you do something like this, it makes it even harder for me to still like you!"

Pearl was about to answer, but she closed her mouth.

One reason is because the psychic-type feels just too hurt, the other being just not able to proof him wrong.



He then turns to his much liked female companion, who still could not understand what was going on.

„Come on Silvia, let's go! Sorry you had to see that!" he said clearly 

The shocked girl does not react in any way but to follow what she has been told.

Black then turns once more and gives the Daysun-Pokemon one last look of anger and disappointment.

Both then walk away

Pearl looks on her paw, which is still throbbing from the contact with Black cheek.

Pearl mumble.

„What have I done?"

She then sits down under a tree, where no sunlight can reach her anymore, and she begins to cry.


She cries: Long, hard ...and broken.

At the moment, everything seems dark, but soon another sun will rise.
