Eeveelution Squad Story: Where is my Eclipse?

Chapter 2 - A Gai-ish Encounter

Main focus on: Pearl the Espeon, Gai the Umbreon

Featuring: Pearl the Espeon, Silvia the Sylveon, Gai the Umbreon (Silvia Brother), Speed the Jolteon

As the sun slowly goes down, Pearl feels like she will never see her own sun ever again.

Calling her a mess at this point would have been a solid understatement. She cried for hours, and buried herself deeper and deeper into her sorrow and sadness.

„I messed up. I messed up so much! Maybe he won't ever forgive me for that? Maybe he will even move out because of me!"

„Why Black, just why won't you give me a chance? You always were my knight in shining armor, ever since you saved me! Was I never ever close to being an actual interest to you?"

Out of all thoughts she had so far, this one makes her shiver the most.


„How in the world am I supossed to handle this!?"

Her thoughts are interupted by a scream.

It is a male voice, but the scream was very high pitch.

She quickly followed the noise.


The Espeon moves until she sees an embarrased female Absol and an Ursaring holding a Pokémon head down which looked quite similar to the one who was the cause of her sadness.


„Please don't hurt me. I am sorry that I peeked at her!" the Umbreon said

„You will be sorry after I am done with you, you little, creepy pervert!" the Ursaring replies, raising his fist for a punch.

Now Pearl remembers him. It is Silvia brother! The Ursaring fletches his teeth.

„Oh no. Quick, do something!" the Espeon demands to herself

„You stupid Umbreon! Getting in trouble again!" she screams to the wondering Umbreon of all the other Pokémon 

„I am so disappointed!" she adds when she gets closer to the Umbreon 

„You know this creep?" the Ursaring asks Pearl, slowly dropping his fist back down

„Yeah, he's my brother, and I know what he did!"

The one upside down Umbreon looks at her with a blank expression before opening his mouth.

„Wait a minute, I am not hmm...."

He can't not finish his sentence as Pearl now uses her tail to stuff his mouth.

„No complaining brother! You know what you did! Wait till I am done with you!"

Pearl then turns her attention back to the Ursaring and the still unconfortable female Absol.


She then bows before them.

„I am so so sorry Mister that he did nasty stuff to your girlfriend! Please don't hurt him! I have better ways to deal with him!"

„Well fine, this time I will let it slide, but never again!"

With that, the Ursaring let's his grip go off Gai which makes pretty awful contact with the ground.

„Ouch..."

„Do you hear me Umbreon?! The next time something similar happen like this, I will kick your butt all over the forest! You can be lucky your sister appeared!"

„Thank you very much!" Pearl says to the couple and makes a second short bow of respect

„Ok babe, let's go home!" the Ursaring says and as gently as you could imagine a big, angry bear Pokémon going to be presses the Absol girl against his fur to calm her.


Pearl waits a minute longer to make sure they were gone.

„Puh, finally this is over!"

Gai, still flabbergasped he got off the hock, finally gets up and cleans the dirt from his bruised body.

With mixed feelings and a little fury about his action in her eyes, Pearl goes over to him.

„You don't know how much of luck you had there that I made it in time! Man Gai, you could have been death meat! Only because you can't stop being such a perv!"

Gai lowered his head in shame as he went closer to Pearl.

„You are right, I really would have deserved this. I can't thank you enough for helping me out of this!"

Pearl shacked her head

„No, you don't. You might should get somehow punished for this, but not like this. He did not wanted to teach you a lesson, but maybe just let his anger out on you. It does not need a big injury to teach you a lesson! Still, I am mad at you for this. I got to know you as quite a nice guy. I know you are more then this!"

„Yeah, maybe you are right, still, it was my trouble and I am sorry you had to get involved into this!

Thank you so much for helping me out of this!" Gai said and bows before Pearl

The Espeon now has quite the impressed expression

Then Pearl realized two bulges on his head and some scratches on the pervy Umbreon, one scratch even bleeding a little bit. Also, even Pearl can not detect it at this point, he landed on one of his front paws and is in great pain.

„Oh, he still got you a bit! That looks nasty!"

„It's nothing, it will heal up soon!"

Gai tries not to give any louds of suffering thought his „wounds" do indeed hurt. He doesn't want to bother the Espeon any longer, but he doesn't reckon with the natural help instict of the Espeon.

„Come on, lets go to the Treehouse! Those bulges need some ice!"

„No , really, I am fin hmphhh...."

Before he could finish, Pearl put her paw on his mouth!

„Just stop going against what's best for you!" she says calmly.

Her motherly instincts took over and distracted her quite much from the Situation with Black.


At the house...


„Now, one more around and the bandage is finished!" Pearl says with a smile


„How do you feel now?"

„Much better thanks to your nursery!" the Umbreon says, relieved most of the pain was gone

„Look, just don't get into this much trouble again. Next time I may won't be there to help, and this sure wasn't the last mad boyfriend you will run into!"

Gai could clearly hear the worried sound in Pearls voice

He again bows down slowly

„I thank you so much for everything Pearl! That could have been nasty! I will try to be more responsible! It's hard to take care of my sister if I can't walk after all..."

Pearl smiled and pats his head

„Hehe, I am charmed, but you don't have to bow before me! Just keep it save!"


She then let out a giggle

„To think you almost blew it if I did not stop you. My heart almost stopped."

Gai rubs the back of his neck.

„Well, I thought I needed to be honest!"

„Yea, I feel you, having to lie made me feel sick too, but for your safety I made an exception."

They smile at each other and have some eye contact before a voice interrupts them

„Big brother, why do you have a bandage and plasters?" a newly arrived Silvia asks in shock

The sight of Silvia instantly makes Pearl unsure on how to react

„Hey Sis, well I got into trouble with a girl boyfriend and thanks to your friend I am not a pancake!"

Then Silvia landed a light slap to his brother cheek

„Oww, Sis, that hurts!"

In the next second, the Sylveon pulls him into a hug

„That was so stupid big brother! Don't ever make me worry so much!"

All her ribbons press tightly around his body.

„Why can't you do something safer then peeking at girls..."

„I am a man, I have needs..." he says straight out

Sylvia just looks at him unbelieving and would have face-pawed herself if it wasn't for the hug.

„A need for pain that is I assume...." Pearl says a little annoyed and rolls her eyes

In the next second, Silvia caughts her off guard by pulling her in for a big hug as well.


„Oh big sis, thank you so much for protecting him and taking care of him! I am so thankful!"

What should she do? She still is very mad at the childish Sylveon who is about to date the love of her live, yet she can not just break this hug and lash out on her, in front of her brothers eyes non the less.

She's so caught up in the situation that she began to sweat! What was the best decision to make?

„Come on, just say „no problem" and go away!" she tells herself in her mind

Then Pearl looked at the Slyveon again, and the thought of doing anything was like erased from her mind. There was just a big, paralysing mess of thoughts, making her even more nervous. Pain, sorrow, fury and on the other side love and other positive feelings.

„I don't know why she is so unconfortable around my sister right now, but she has been through enough! I gotta get her out of this!" Gai says in his thoughts


„Sis, I need to talk to you, and Pearl told me she had some other things to do! I have already costed her enough time, so she now needs to head on! Right Pearl?
"


„Eh...what......a oh yea...right!"

To make sure the sitution does not take another turn, Gai grabs his little sister and heads towards the next room.

„Come on, enough hugging, let's go!"

„Alright alright I am coming!" Sylvia says surprised over her brother behaviour.


Gai gives Pearl a quick wink and a boyish smile. Then they dissapear.



The psychic - Eeveelution takes some deep, relieving breathes.

„Wow, he really handles that well..." Pearl thinks

„I maybe really should do some chores, that may help me distracting me a little bit!"


On the way outside Speed and the two siblings meet

„Heya big brother, whats up? Where is Sunshine?" Silvia asks

„She playing a game with Kris!"

„Ok two things: First, why did she call you big brother? Second, yo Speed, Pearl said she needs you for something, and it is really important! Do you hear me! She is in the kitchen!"

He almost screams, which leaves both listeners confused

„Alright....I will go to her! thanks for telling....! Oh, and she calls me big brother because she wanted to and I guess I had to agree...."

After Speed is gone.

„So big bro I got news, but do you wanna go first with what you wanted say? Cause my news might be heavy for you to hear? But they are important!"

„No, you can tell me the news first, they seem to be, very important. I am sure I can take it!"

„Ok well, today, I was asked out on a date by Black. And I am very unsure, but he has been very nice to me and I wanna give it a try.It may won't work, but he has so much fate in this. I want to ask how you feel about this?"

Gai is quite overwhelmed by this, but he knew this day would come when she eventually would go for a serious romance.


„Well, I don't know if Black is right for you, but you are old enough to know what you are doing. Of course, you will always stay my little sister, so if you need anything in this from me, I will be there for you!"

„Thanks, that's what I hoped to hear!" she says and give him a big hug again

„Anything for you little sis!"

After his sister closed her eyes while feeling his black fur, Gai expression changes from a smile to a worried face.

„So that must be the thing that made Pearl so uncomfortable. I wonder if I can do something for her. I at least gotta try!"


Meanwhile in the kitchen

„Well lets see, now that I cleaned up the table, I might..."

She is interrupted by a noise!

„Hey Pearl, Gai told me you needed me for something, what is it?"

Quickly Pearl runs towards Speed into a big and long needed hug.

Before Speed could ask, he feels his fur become wet!

„Please, stay with me! Something terrible happened!"

Speed understands as the hug tightens and he begins to gently stroke her head

„Hush hush, I am here for you now! Let it all out! We will get through this together, Pearl!"
