Chapter 6 - The Date

Main focus: Gai the Umbreon, Pearl the Espeon

Featuring: Gai the Umbreon, Pearl the Espeon, Silvia the Sylveon, Speed the Jolteon

„Alright, exactly 9 pm, I am on point!" a well dressed Gai speaks to himself as he arrives at the door of the treehouse.

Gently but loud enough he knocks on the door letting Pearl know he is ready to go on a date and in his words "rock the night" with her.

The door opens and, what is stading right there before him, is to good to speak into words for the Umbreon.
Right there Pearl is stading before him in a wonderful , magical white dress which is decorated with some fine flowers in various colours, but the blue sky ones dominated a little on the special piece of clothing.

"Hey Gai, you look excellent in that suit!"

She turns in a circle so Gai could get a good look on every part of the dress.

"How do I look?"

The Umbreon, in a deep red shade, almost could not believe how beautiful the Espeon looks that night.

"Your look is beyond words!" Gai says as gently as possible

He almost forgot about the roses on his paws.

"Oh, by the way, for you!"

Pearl smiles widely at the red flowers
"Thank you so much, your so sweet!" she says and she gently rubs her head against his in a lovely mane

She then give the flower to Speed inside before they both go on their way to the restaurant.

Speed and Silvia watch them from a far.

"Ahhhh Speed, they are so cute together! I can believe my brother turned into such a fine guy, I am so happy for them!" Silvia says as she begins to cry in joy into Speeds chest.

"There there! I am happy for them too, especially for Pearl!" Speed says while comforting the Sylveon.

As their arrive in the restaurant , indoors they are immediately greeted by a waitor.

"Your table is this way my dear guests!" the Mightyena said as it leads them to their dinner place.

Gai firmly grabs the Espeon chair so she can sit down in all calmness.

"Why thank you, what a nice Gentle Umbreon you are!" Pearl says very happy with him and the date so far.
They pick their food and start to talk.
"So, how do you like the place I picked?" Pearl asks with a smile

"It is beautiful, especially the colouring of the floors and the uh clothing of the works and ...uh yeah the...."

Pearl interrupts him with a giggle

"You don't have to sound not like you just give me a regular Gai answer!" she says with a very gentle smile

"Well I to be honest don't know much about restaurants, it's a very noble and elegant place that for sure!"

"Yea, perfect for our first date, that's why I picked it!"

Gai suddenly had something on his mind which Pearl would love to hear , at least he thought.

"Well, no matter where we would be, as long as I am there with you it would definitely be great!"

But all this earned him was a giggle

"A petty standard romance thing to say don't you think!"

"Heh, yeah I guess!" Gai says with a smile, but within he was disappointed about her reaction.
