Chapter 4 - Thanks for everything

Main focus on: Gai the Umbreon, Pearl the Espeon

Featuring: Gai the Umbreon, Silvia the Sylveon, Pearl the Espeon

Some time has passed and since their first ice cream meeting where Gai tried to cheer up Pearl over Black dating with Sylvia now they developed a very close friendship. Not quite as close as Speed and Pearl but still it is very special to both of them.

Gai with a confused look is looking at the night sky.

"I don't get it, why is that since I am close to Pearl, I more and more loose interest in looking at sexy girls! It's like she teaches me something, something about women I never knew about. It's not that I don't do it anymore, I just, the more I try to imgine a womans curves the more I see her face, gently asking me to not be a pervert., and the weirdest thing is, I instantly follow. Also, the more I think about her, the more her own beauty goes inside me. Her cute gentle face, her nice and calming voice, and her motherly and kind way of handling things. Also...I don't dare to say it...but her body is....wow!"

A certain Sylveon was about to head out to speak to her brother when she overhears the whole thing.

With a smile she comes to him and hugs him

"Silvia oww....how.....how much did you heard?!"

The Sylveon nods and nuzzles her brothers cheek

"Brother I tell you what is going on I think you starting to have a crush on Pearl!"

Gai unbelieving looks at her sister

"WHat ...me....no way I...I don't think I could ever...I mean she is your ...."

"That doesn't mean you can't develop feelings for her Gai, no matter what she is to me!"

Gai gave it 30 seconds of thinking through

"Maybe....maybe your right....but do you think she....she ever take me? Isn't Jolteon better for her?"

Silvia gives herself a short while to think as well, then nods.

"Who knows...I think you should try and find out....and if not...you at least know for sure, and even if it hurts....I will be there for you to get over and I am sure you still will have a great friend in her then! Besides Lazuli and Speedy get closer and closer too!"

Gai nods

"Your right, I really should try! Thanks sis!"
They hug again and make a plan on how to approach Pearl on it.
With a fast heartbeat he rings the doorbell of the treehouse.
Now knowing he has feelings for the Espeon make him far more nervous for the now regular going outs of the two then usual.
Pearl opened the door, to see a well dressed Umbreon with a flower, and a paper around it that says

"For being a great friend!"

He looks like he just would go on a date

"Umm...did I miss something Gai!" Pearl says and chuckles amused
Gai lays down the flower and shakes his head

"I just wanted to make this a bit more special then usual, to get things spiced up a bit!"

Pearl laughs as she takes the flower from the ground.

"Alright, I will follow along, but your suit will make me look shabby beside you!"

"Oh sorry, it wasn't my intention to..."


"No it's fine, I know how you mean it, let's just get going as usual!"

She then slowly leans forward and nuzzles Gai cheek

"Thanks for the flower! I like it very much!"

"A Great friend as you deserves it!" Gai says a little red now

"Hehe, then you should get a flower too!" she says and laughs, which makes the Umbreon smile

Eventually they sit in the ice cream bar and share a big bowl of chocolate ice cream. Flare would be so jealous on them, oh you can believe that.

"So, how is it going with you and Black if I am allowed to get an update. Sorry if it spoils the mood!" Gai says carefully

Pearl begins to nervously tapping her paw on the table, but tries to keep a smile while looking at Gai
"It's hard to see them together, I mean they are still in dating phase, so anything is possible, but all in all even if it's hard, I could get over him being with Silvia!"

Gai gets a huge smile and nods gently

"Thats good, I mean, in the sense that I wouldn't like seeing you breaking on those feelings!"


Pearl then suddelny hugs the once perverted Umbreon

"It's all thanks to you and Speed you know, the others helped me out too of course, but you two were just so great to me! Whenever I was down in the last few weeks you two were there catching me! It has been a very good experience I can always count on my friends! And I apologies that I for sure have been much to handle for you, I promise I make it up when I am better!"

Gai then firmly shakes his head

"Pearl, my friend, yes it has been much, but I don't care. In fact, I couldn't be thankful for all the time we spend, and the friendship we build!"

Pearl breaks the hug and then looks into his face with a huge smile as she puts her paw on his.

"I am glad you think so Gai, and can I tell you something, the way you treat me, if you will treat a girl like this in the future, I am sure you will find a very good looking girlfriend and who will fill all your desires, you just gotta believe it!"

Gai got a bit red when Pearl said this, but then smiled brightly

"I mean, it's not that I didn't know I have been awesome before, but now I know it even more!"

Pearl shakes her head smiling

"Oh you silly Umbreon! Yes your awesome a bit and definitely charming in your own way is what I can say!"

They finished their bowl of ice cream and start their way home

As they walk back home, they decide to walk through the park, several pairs were kissing there deeply in love.
