CHAPTER 36

~3rd Person POV~

It was a bright sunny morning, most all students from the Bogdan Academy are busy preparing for the first day of the Academy Fair.

Everyone is joyfully preparing their booths, many imperial knights are assigned guard and to look for any suspicious person coming in and out of the academy.

The whole fair is the only opportunity of the poor nobles and commoners to come inside the academy but the students themselves cannot go outside unless they have a permission letter like the Special club.

The Special club is the club which the villain, Cain El Blanc is sorted. He is now heading to the their respective room. As usual a lot of people avoids him, not having any eye contact with him or sometimes made him feel like he doesn't even exist.

When he was getting near the door, he heard his classmates laughing like there's no tomorrow but they immediately stop when they saw Cain enter the room.

Cain went to furthest seat and lay his head flat on the desk with his arms supporting his face to take a nap.

Not a minute after he close his eyes, he heard the door open and he peek to see who went in. He was a bit surprised to see the familiar girl with light brown hair and light brown eyes.

Their adviser was introducing them and telling them that the two students who entered are assigned to help their club. Cain verified to himself that she was really the girl and what a coincidence it is that she was with the crown prince's right hand man and loyal dog.

When it was time to introduce Cain, he unconsciously gave them a glare without him realizing it since he is used to making that kind of expression.

Even if Cain did glare at them, Delie looks back at him and noticed that he has been staring at her which made Cain immediately look away.

(...Did she realize that I'm the one who put the blazer on the library?...probably not! ...Why am I staring at her in the first place anyway?)

Cain thought to himself. The two were told by the Special club's adviser to introduce themselves so they did. Delie introduced herself while doing a curtsy which made Cain confused since she's not wearing a dress but Cain can't help laughing after he saw her looking shocked and realizing what she did.

Cain looks away trying to hold himself from laughing which made him look like a pufferfish.

(Stop Cain! You're embarrassing yourself!)

Cain tries so hard in stopping his laughter.

When they had finished introducing themselves, they start helping the other students in preparing but Cain just continued his nap on his desk.

He did spend some seconds looking at the light brown hair and light brown-eyed girl. He doesn't get why she looks so happy getting a bunch of small stars from them and even grins like someone who steals candy from a baby.

He then got a feeling of hunger, after all he didn't have any breakfast since he woke up late so he decided to go outside since no one feels like he wants him to help them so he left the room in silence.

After he shut the door, he heard his classmates chattering and laughing.

(Those bastards...they really don't want me there, don't they?)
