"Ummmm..."

The two of us are looking at each other without moving an inch. I think we've been staring at each other for more than ten seconds already.

"Why are you-"

I'm going to ask him a question when he cut me off.

"I'm not crying!"

He jolted up from the bushes he was hiding in and wipe the tears from his face.

I'm not going to ask why he's crying. I'm actually going to ask why he's hiding in the bushes.

"Why are you here alone?"

I stepped forward to go near him. But he suddenly flinched and moves away from me.

"Don't come near me!"

He gave me a sharp glare which made me refrain myself from reaching my hand to him.

"Why? I'm not going to hurt you..."

I'm just going to comfort him actually. Even though he is stubborn, he is really cute!

"No! It's not that like that! I'm the one who's going to hurt you!"

He screamed at me.

"Hurt me?"

Awww, why does a cute little boy like him going to hurt me?

"Just go away!"

He suddenly runs away from me but he is not far from me when tripped over a small rock. His body slammed into the ground.

"Pffttt..."

My whole body is shaking from keeping myself from laughing. I even put both of my hands to my mouth.

"Arghhh..."

I heard him growl trying to stand up from where he fall off. I immediately went to him to help him get up.

"Are you okay?"

I put my hand into his arm and saw his face flooded with tears.

"It hurts!"

He shrieked in pain.

We are seated together on the bench after he had his face mop the floor. Good thing he didn't even have any bruise in his face from the fall.

I looked at the clock tower and saw that it's four more minutes till midnight. The time seems slower now.

"Sooo...."

I'm the one who break the silence and was about to think of a topic to talk about before his stomach grumbles.
