"The empress has arrived!"

We turn to look at the empress who was wearing a gold sun hat and gold dress with her lady-in-waitings behind her.

"Greetings to the empress!"

All of the guests here including me gave the empress a quick head bow to give her our greetings.

She gave us a warm close-eyed smile and small wave.

"Empress Cybele! Thank you so much for coming here"

We suddenly saw lady Daphne rushing towards the empress, giving her a very elegant curtsy.

"Of course! Why wouldn't I go to my future daughter-in-law's celebration party~?"

The empress looks down and hold Daphne's hands into hers.

"T-thank you so much, I prepared a special table for Her Majesty! I will lead you to it"

She waited for the empress to walk beside her and let her sit on a chair of the fanciest table in the garden.

"I can't help but wonder...what if the emperor breaks the engagement of the crown prince and lady Daphne?"

Lianne whispered to us.

"Why do you ask?"

We asked her.

She just gave us a shrug before answering.

"I'm just curious..."

"I think since the Il Viva family was the one who proposed the engagement...the emperor can easily break it since they are the ones that were proposed to"

Valerie informed us with her index finger pointing up.

"So that means...the one who proposed can't break it unless the one who was proposed to wants to break it?"

Phia asked Valerie to make certain about what she thinks.

"Correct"

Then if I accepted the proposal of the Vi Claross and somehow me and Arthur got engaged then they don't have the right to break it. My family and I are the ones who can break it only.

So even if Daphne doesn't want to break the engagement but the crown prince wants to then she has no choice but to accept it. On the other hand, she can't break it if she wants unless the crown prince agrees to breaking the engagement.

Daphne demonstrated her gift to all of us, her gift is actually fragrance. She can make a bunch of scents even poisonous one although she told us that she can only make five kinds so far.

Daphne begins chatting with the empress and told everyone to enjoy the rest of the party.

Her parents are not even here to celebrate with her. Only her nanny since I heard that they went to visit her brother who is preparing to be the next duke in the palace and left her alone here. Her father spoils on her too much by giving her anything she wants but can't spend some time with her.
