WARNING THERE IS BLOOD AND A BIT OF GORE! READ WITH CAUTION!
Lightning flashed and rain poored hard.
The moment you looked up you saw a large branch plummet down.Your arm was caught in the fall down. You could feel your bones snap on impact, biting your teeth down to shut your mouth from the screams of pain.
Lightning continued to strike, you could feel the strikes getting much closer by the second, till one striked right behind you. Feeling your wings and back heat up, but thankfully nothing more than that.
Tears streamed down your eyes, the pain quickly swallowing your arm, using your other hand you rolled the branch over your arm, swallowing your saliva and inhaling deeply, you resisted the scream ripping into your throat. Checking your arm, swelling started to take place, with the dim lighting you couldn't make much more out of weather your bleeding or not...
"I have to get home now" you whispered through the rain, your eyes started to droop. But you refused.
Quickly you started running back home, holding your arm close to prevent any unnecessary injuries.

Back at your home, Kris sat infront of the TV, a controller in hand as he played away on Mario cart, currently winning on rainbow road. He made himself comfy, prepared popcorn and snuggled close to a blanket and awaited for you to return with food.
Without warning you slammed through the door, locking it tightly behind you, gently placing your bag down and fiercely ran your way up the stairs and locking yourself in the bathroom.
Kris looked away from the tv screen for a moment, not paying attention to your sudden appearance. He made his way to your bag and placed it on the kitchen counter (which is now stained black) and looked into its contents.Your breathing got shallow, you could clearly see the blood dribbling down the scrapes and blisters, your skin swollen near black.
Rushing under the cabinets and pulling out a first aid kit, you carefully took out a variety of herb oils and band aids to help aid your broken arm.

When you exited the bathroom door you could feel yourself dip further into the need to pass out. You pulled your jacket sleeve over your makeshift cast, hiding it away and making your way down stairs towards the kitchen.
Evaluating your bag.......It was empty of food.
You scrambled through the bag, hoping you didn't drop it on the way home, but the sound of a straw sucking desperately for whatever contents in a container made you turn your attention to the lounge.
Kris held a empty milkshake in hand, packaging lay on the coffee table, the remains of the burgers and milkshakes to be exact. His attention turned to you, straw in mouth he smiled innocently, crumbs scattered on his lips and chin.
"THANKS SIS FOR THE MILKSHAKES AND BURGERS, THEY WERE REALLY FILLING"
You huffed to yourself, you don't have any energy to consolidate him over the food.
"You're welcome Kris, I'm going to be in the study if you need me. Make yourself comfortable till bedtime." You said in a soft voice, moving your pained feet up the stairs to your study.
You payed no attention to the room and just made a beeline to your desk and chair. Once your head met the table, it was lights out.
