The sound of scanners were filled in your work space, sweat bedding on your brow while swiftly swiping the customers shopping with the scanner.
You groan under your breath, who on earth needs so much toilet rolls in one basket!??
And why does it feel that with every swipe with each roll feels like you are making your dominant arm go through a full week of Jim?
It's either you're unfit or these rolls are filled with weights.
...
Maybe the first option..

You finish off with the last item and packing it into a bag, handing it to the customer, they thanked you and left with bags in each hand.

You look at the time on your phone, you smiled giddly as you saw the time.

"Finally my shift is almost over" you hummed to yourself, packing your phone back into your pocket and waited.

Just as you were about to pack up you heard tapping of small talons marching your way, you looked to their direction, you almost died from cuteness overload, a raptor like monster child stood before you, he had a light orange tone to his scales that had afew scars decorated lightly, he wore a large sweater that ended to his knees that had caramel and yellow stripes, he didn't seem to have arms, which was kinda sad, his wings were tiny, a dark brown complementing his yellow scales, they looked far too tiny for flight but looked strong enough to glide.
The boy was holding four lolipops in his mouth as a substitute for hands as he waited for you to scan them.

You smiled at him "is that what you would like to buy?" You asked, the boy bobbed his head up and down while his wings swayed.
You gently took the lolipops from his mouth and scanned them in.
"Yo, thanks!" The boy said, practically making you melt in cuteness, you gave him a bag with his things inside, and the boy buried his face into his sweater pocket, possibly searching for his money.
After afew moments the boy emerged from his sweater pocket with a sad face.
"I'm sorry miss, it looks like I've lost my money" he said sadly.
You gave him the packet with a small smile to your face.

"Don't worry, I'll pay for it" you said to him, he grabbed the bag with his mouth once again, beaming with joy.

"Thank you so much Miss! You are a really cool human" he complemented before running off out the shop, and immediately face planting into the hard floor of the outside, you were just about to rush out and help him, before he heaved himself upwards and continued his run.

You sighed in relief to yourself and put a portion of your money into the register before packing up your things, rushing out of the store out of the crowded streets to the dirt road home before slowing your pace.

The sun has almost set, the clouds blending all sorts of warm colours of pinks and orange, you looked up to the sky seeing many retreat from the sky's to their homes.
Allowing the sky to be clear as you see the stars slowly shine through the atmosphere.

The dirt and pebbles being dragged under your feet and the sounds of nearby crickets chirping in the grass and trees made a beautiful melody, your thoughts pulled to the two children you have met today, Frisk and Chara.

They seemed strange in an almost interesting way, you wonder if they could be nice people in the long run, but on the other hand, they could just be more random others that you won't come acquainted with.

You remember your pet rock was still in the abyss of your bags side pocket, gasping to yourself you pull out your faithful companion!

...

"I'm so sorry.... I kinda forgot about you hehehe"

...

"Alright, alright I'll make sure to feed you extra sprinkles when we get home, ok?"
