"Adrien..." Marinette was staring at Adrien, her eyes wide, trying to process what she had just seen. Adrien just looked over at his kwami and said his transformation words again. Right after he had detransformed Plagg, he immediately ate the piece of cheese in Adrien's jacket pocket.

"Surprise?" He said with a little jazz hands gesture. Marinette's jaw just fell open in shock and she pointed her finger at him as if he committed a crime.

"You're Cat Noir?" She forced out, and he looked down at his feet fiddling with his fingers.

"Maybe?" Marinette fought the urge to laugh at him. It wasn't that she was trying to make him feel bad, he just looked so cute with the little pout he had on his face.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, climbing up onto the balcony so she could be with him. He seemed a bit more relaxed now, but she could still notice the tension in his shoulders.

He leaned back against the railing that wrapped around the balcony. "You seemed angry with me earlier so I thought I would do something sweet to apologize." He heard her let out a small laugh and he looked at her surprised.

"Kitty I was never angry with you, I was just feeling unwell, and a little upset. I'm sorry I made you think you had to do all this for me." He quickly shook his head, ready to reassure, but then he froze and his ears pinned down on his head. Marinette had always hated that look on him. It had become an occurrence over their partnership.

"What's wrong."

"Ladybug is going to kill me now that someone knows who I am. Even if it is the one I love." Marinette was taken back by the mention of her alter ego, but it was the last words he had said that caught her attention.

"The girl you... love?" Cat Noir looked are her and smiled. "But I thought... Brigette?" He sighed and shook his head.

"I swear Marinette, that was a mistake." She felt a little odd at him saying he and her sister was a mistake, but she was too happy right now to care. Marinette turned to face him and flung her arms around him.

"I love you too you silly cat." Marinette was about a head shorter than Adrien, so her head was resting on his chest. He was finally able to relax his posture in her arms. He wrapped his arms around her and tightened his grip.

When they pulled away, Marinette fight the urge to pull his lips onto hers. Of course, Adrien just had to be her kitty. She had always seen the sadness behind his façade. Every joke he made had a hidden meaning behind it.

Unfortunately, she knew that if she didn't go know she probably wouldn't have the willpower to later. "I should get to bed." He smiled and nodded.

Grabbing Marinette's hand, he laid a gentle kiss on the back of it, (Which gave her way too much Deja Vu) "Goodnight Princess." And with that, he leaped away into the night leaving Marinette with her own thoughts.

---The next morning---

Marinette had been packing her bag for the day at school, and Brigette had been passing by her numerous times. After a night of sleep, she had time to think over what had happened, and she couldn't help but feel a little guilty. Adrien didn't exactly say that he and Brigette broke up.

"Brigette I have to tell you something." The blunette passed her by again and didn't stop.

"Sorry, I can't talk, I have to meet with Chloe before school." She ran out the door, slamming it behind her, she was trying to act normal before Marinette realized what was truly going on. The girl was Ladybug, she was smart, and she was already suspicious of her now, she didn't want it to grow into something bad.
