I am sooo sorry for the long wait!! My mental health took a turn for the worse all of a sudden, but I finally got it all out of my system. So, here you go...

Bill's POV

Everything seemed to be falling into place. Dipper and I were growing closer, Mabel and Pacifica were getting married, and all the terrors from the weirdness spike seemed to finally be gone. The sun was shining brightly through the trees and hills, making the birds sing and the squirrels restless. Everyone seemed happier than usual.

Dipper rushed past me, giving me a quick kiss on the cheek before heading for the door. Although he was smiling and looked happy, he still had a hesitance in his step. "Everything all right?" I asked, noticing his hand hovering on the doorknob.

He turned and smiled brightly, "Oh, yeah, everything's perfect! I'm just heading out to go shopping with Mabel for the engagement party."

"If you say so... But come give me a real goodbye this time." I reached my hand towards him in a grabbing motion, but all he did in response was a hurried wave.

"I'm sorry, I'm in a hurry. I've got to go. Bye, I love you!" And with that, he left as quickly as he came, without so much as a kiss. I ran out after him, hoping to spend some more time with him today.

Ever since the announcement, sure everything has been practically perfect, but Dipper has been spending more and more time with Mabel. "Hey, wait! What if I come along to help? Maybe some outside perspective could be useful?" I suggested nervously.

Dipper seemed confused as to why I offered, but Mabel could see right through me. "That's a great idea! You can help us lift the fog machine, lord knows this one needs help!" Mabel jabbed her thumb in Dipper's direction and laughed. "Kidding! But seriously, we would love your help."

Things went awkwardly quiet for a bit since I didn't know how to respond, and Mabel broke it by clapping her hands. "Everyone get in! I'll drive." Dipper quickly climbed into the passenger seat, leaving me in the back of their small convertible, long overdue for a wash. Mabel smushed the sticky buttons of what used to be a radio until she found a suitable station and brought down the top of the car.

"Been a while since we've had the top down. You sure about this?" Dipper questioned.

Mabel waved her hand dismissively, "We have your demon boyfriend now, we'll be fine. And besides, the weather is perfect for it!" Dipper shrugged, and the ball of energy that is his sister wrapped one hand on the stick shift, the other tightly around the steering wheel. "Ready to go?"

Dipper nodded and gripped the seat. I was so distracted to register the red flags before Mabel whisked the car around and flew down the dirt road. The wind whipped my hair, and I had to close my eyes. Mabel drove the car with such authority, as we weaved around each tight turn. I never would have guessed she drove this way, just by looking at her. The way she handled the wheel, with such care, she looked like nothing short of a professional. "Hey, slow down, we're nearing the town already!" Dipper shouted over the fierce winds and the radio.

"Oh, shut up, I know how to drive." Mabel giggled, slowly pressing on the brakes. With how fast we were going, I was expecting to go flying as soon as she hit the brake, but she slowed down naturally, coming to a stop right at our turn.

I released the grip on my seat I didn't know I had and turned to Dipper. "Does she always drive like this?" I panted, scared out of my mind.

"Yeah, but you get used to it. Don't mind her driving, it's not that bad. You should try having a bear as your driver!" Dipper and Mabel chuckled nervously, "Now that was some bad driving."
