Mabel's POV
I bopped my kitty alarm clock and rushed to the bathroom. Today was Pacifica's surprise, and I couldn't be more ecstatic! I had saved the perfect sweater for this occasion: my deep red one with the hot pink heart. I quickly got dressed, braided my hair, and ran to the kitchen. I stuffed a granola bar in my mouth and dashed out the door.
My phone buzzed, and I noticed a text from Paz. She told me to meet her at the arcade. Been a while since I've been there... I smiled as I remembered going there for our first date. I made my way to the Stanmobile and drove off towards the arcade, blasting the radio and rolling down the window.
When it came into view, Paz was waiting in the front for me. I parked and made my way to her. She looked nervous. She had one hand fidgeting with something in her purse, and with the other, she was fussing with a stray strand of hair. "Hey, babe! How are you?"
"What? Oh, Mabel! Hey, yeah, I'm fine. How about you?" She pulled her hand out of her purse and gave me a hug.
"I'm great! I'm excited to see what your surprise is. I love surprises!" I beamed and took her hand as we walked inside.
She laughed nervously and fixed that stray strand again, "Yeah, I'm excited, too. And-" Music blared and games sounded when we made it to our table, that her sentence was cut off. I simply shrugged it off and headed over to the front counter for tokens. "No, don't worry about it, I already paid." Paz shook a small cup of coins, and I squealed.
"You know I love you, right?"
"Yeah...?"
"But, I'm going to destroy you in everything!" I grabbed a handful of tokens and ran off to Frog Time. Paz ran after me, laughing.
"No, you're not!" She teased, placing a coin down. "I call the next game, and I'm going to get more points than you."
I turned and smirked at her, "Nope!"
The game started, and I went to work, zooming this way and that, trying to get as many points as possible. "You're cute when you're focused." Paz smiled, and the frog got ran over. I shrugged it off and tried again, but this time she kissed my cheek, and the frog died. On the third and final try, she hugged me around the waist from behind, and I only got a small handful of points.
"You cheater!" I laughed.
"What? I am no such thing!" She pretended to get offended. "You're just not as good as me, that's all." She stuck her token in and started playing. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't bring myself to cheat, and I let her win.

A couple hours passed, and we walked out of the arcade, thoroughly satisfied. Paz had bought me a teddy bear, even though she won against me in points. "Thanks for such a fun time, Paz."
She grinned, "It's not over yet. What do you say to a game of mini-golf?"
My face lit up, "Yes! Yes, yes, yes!" I squealed. "I can give you a ride there." I pulled out my keys, but she shook her head.
"Wouldn't you rather ride in style?" She asked, and at that moment, a limousine drove around the corner. I gasped when the driver got out and opened the door for me. I got in first, and Paz slid in after me.
"Why do you spoil me?" I giggled, reaching for the little candy bowl.
She shrugged her shoulders and leaned back, motioning to the driver to go. "Because I love you." The car started, and we left for the mini-golf park. I popped a chocolate in my mouth and leaned my head on her shoulder. She wrapped her arm around me and kissed my head.
We talked about life and of the future for a while as the town flew past us. It gave me time to ask an important question. "What do you think the future holds for us?" I turned to look her in the eyes, but she was blushing and stammering.
"Uh...Y-you n-never know... It's h-hard to say...?" She went back to fussing over her hair, twirling the strand in her fingers.
"Hmm...Allow me to put on my scepticles..." I put on imaginary glasses, and Paz laughed.
"You're cute." She pulled my glasses off and kissed me softly. "We're here, goofball."
I looked outside and saw the mini-golf park from our childhood. The same worn-down fence with a faded 'weiners' welcomed us. Dipper and I had sworn never to go there again because of the lilliputtians. "What are we doing here...?"
Paz smirked and stepped out of the car, holding the door for me, "Don't worry, I had all the golf ball monsters removed. They can't interfere with us anymore." I beamed and stepped out, in awe that she would go to such lengths for me.
"Well, then. You know what that means, don't you?" I smirked back. She nodded. "Let's see who's better; no cheating allowed!" I giggled and raced her to the entrance.
The rest of the evening went by in the blink of an eye. We both flew through each hole with ease. A crowd had even started to gather by the time we got to the last one; the windmill hole. I got flashbacks to our first war when the lilliputtians tried killing Paz. But, I just shook it off and placed my ball on the ground. Paz patted my back and cheered me on. If I got this in one shot, I would win... I lifted my club and swung, aiming at the small opening a the bottom of the windmill.
But, instead of coming out the other side, the roof of the windmill opened, and a small banner came out the top. Sparklers lit, and glitter glue spelled out, 'Will you marry me, Mabel?'
"What-" I turned to look at Paz, but she was down on one knee, with a small white velvet box in her hands.
"Mabel, I love you. I would follow you to the ends of the Earth. I would fight any monster with you that stands in our way. I promise you, for the rest of our lives, to give you my all because you are my everything." I started to tear up when she opened the box. I gasped when I saw the ring. It was a large, sparkling pink diamond with a silver band.
"Yes! Yes, of course!" I squealed, jumping with excitement. Despite my energy, I carefully pulled the ring out of the box and put it on my finger. I gave Paz a long kiss and wrapped her in my arms, "I love you, too!" The crowd oohed and awed, and I blushed loudly, burying my face in her shoulder.
She ran her fingers through my hair, "Okay, everyone, you can go about your business now!" The crowd left, and I lifted my head to look at my fiancée, my fiancée.
