Brooke's POV

I was sitting on the rooftop of the "" district as always with my laptop and cat ear hoodie on. Hacking things that I shouldn't be hacking.

I know I know it's dangerous to be doing this in mafia territory but where else can I sharpen my skills in hacking if not here.

Anyways I'm just gonna be hacking into their mainframe and snoop around in them nothing more.

I am not the type of righteous person that would take the things I see to the police.

As usual I was looking at the dealing of the mafia when an anonymous transaction was being made.

As curiosity got the best of me I decided to look at it

if I knew then what this would unfold I believe I would have done it anyway.

Oh my fricking God..... 20 million.. MILLION!! .

Normally this much isn't even allowed to be sent through the net but the protection given for this transaction is pretty impressive that if I were just an ordinary hacker then it would have been an iron clade wall. But as I'm bit of a special case it was easier.

I tried to run the verification on the notes that were being given to this unusually young man that I could see on top on the suitcase

yes I hacked into the cctv of the casino as well but this thing is seriously getting more and more interesting.

The results came up and as thought most of them were duplicated numbers but these were so finely made that you couldn't view it unless you see it carefully or you have free time to snoop around in other people's business like I do....

I just saw that guy turn and look at me through the camera. Shiya have I been compromised?.

I saw that someone was trying to get my ip address through the wormhole I placed in their server.

I quickly closed everything and decided to make a run it as even though I was fast enough to think of a counter they could still see that I was within this area.

I quickly ran down the fire escape and slid onto the dumpster. Jumping off it and sprinting at full speed as I saw men in black clothes gathering behind me at the other end of the alley.

I was almost out of there when I bumped into someone. I fell behind a bit as I was sprinting at my max speed.
I was gonna make a run for it again when I looked into those green orbs that seemed to sparkle under the lamp posts light.

I was almost paralyzed for moment and then I felt a dull pain on the back of my neck. What the.....

Lucius POV

We were doing business in our territory as usual when a sudden proclamation was made to me by a newly formed gang.

I was gonna decline it at first but then the made an offer that I couldn't refuse. So I accepted it.

well if they have the guts to double cross me I do hope they are ready to face the consequences

We were about to wrap up when I heard from my right hand man James that someone was bold enough to steal from us.

This night is gonna be interesting I thought while smirking. I was in the mood to torture someone today

"Capture them and bring them to me right now" I told them darkly. I was outside waiting for my men to bring me the thief that dared to steal from the devil himself.

I saw someone running towards me wearing a cat hoodie and sling bag. When she bumped into me she fell back a bit revealing her face.

Her hair was jet black with light blue highlights at the ends and her eyes were so dark that they looked like the night sky itself.
I saw my men chasing behind her which made me realize it's her.

I knocked her out and slumped over my shoulder. I took her to one of our headquarters in this district.

I had the men bound her to the chair while I asked James to take her bag to our tech team.

After a while I saw that she was beginning to wake up. I went to her, took out my ankle knife and placed it at her throat.

It was a Kanto blade that was given to me by my grandfather.
"who do u work for and where did you hid the money" I asked her emotionlessly.

"Ahhh.. That's gonna bruise for sure and what??" she asked me while slightly moving her head.

What does this girl think she's playing at.

And when I was about to repeat it.

Yeah I might have forgot to mention that by some coding error I accidentally made the transaction into my own account, yes by accident.

"oh that...then I believe that you might have to untie my hands cause I don't think that you would be able encode my laptop and if you did good job" she said signaling her hands.

I untied her hands leaving her with her ankles tied to chair. She was given her laptop by one of the men, she started typing something with great speed.

And then she asked me for my account number while looking straight into my eyes. I looked at James who resituated my bank no.

What you think I would memorize my bank account no when I probably have like a dozen of them.

I saw her type something and then she asked if it has been received.

James just nodded at me and I said " why are you doing this?".

It was the question that boggled my mind at the moment

I held a knife to her throat and she just coughed up those 20 mil with no remorse.

"I have already done it so why bother" she said while trying to untie her legs.

I signaled the men to help her and when they untied it she just went "unnn so that's it right I returned the money so I can leave right?" she said as she packed her sling.

"that would it" I replied.

Brooke's POV

I made my out of the mansion and closed the door behind me.

I then slide down.
that guy was a totally daddy Dom ahh~ that pale skin toned body and those biceps ahh~ I thought. Using my hoodie to hide my face.

I'm sure I was that my whole face was red.

Brooke Burns quit acting like a sexually frustrated teenager.... Even if your a sexually frustrated adult at the moment

I patted my face to remind myself that he is part of the mafia and I'm probably never gonna cross paths with him again. Right?

I reached my apartment, went inside flopped myself on the bed. I turned around with my hands on my face

Hmmm but he did look handsome when he put that blade near your neck the devil in me whispered. That he certainly was, Brooke stop it the angel in me argued.

I just hugged my carrot plushie and slept off. I woke up in the morning and got ready for uni.

I dashed to our university ahead of time when I saw a tall guy with his hair that looked like that of a coconut.

"Mother Hen!!!" I screamed and pounced on him from behind. "I told you to stop it with that nickname" mother hen said.

Mother hen a.k.a Marshal Adam he has been my friend and confident for as long as I remember.

"so how is it that sleeping beauty woke up this early in the morning" he said.

if I told him about what happened yesterday he would probably nag me to death.

"I couldn't sleep much today" I said which was half true so... we entered the university together we were stared at but as usually I just kept a straight face while walking.

I am an introvert so much so that I don't talk much when in uni unless it's with mother hen.

We got up the stairs as the computer science department is on the second floor just when we were gonna take the next flight of stairs. I heard girls screaming and turned to see what the commotion was.

It's him... I saw as he enter the room. He turned towards my direction. I immediately ducked for cover.

I asked mother hen who he was and he said "do you even attend this school? Haaaa he sighted. "what am I supposed to do with you. He's the prince of the botany department Lucius Le'strange".
