Lucius POV

We entered the warehouse. With my men leading the way, I walked in like I owned the place.

When I entered I saw three guys surrounding something. I immediately made my way stabbing and shooting anyone who comes my way.

I saw those three guys nervously come at me. I took down the three in an instant and saw her, bound to a chair that was toppled over while bleeding.

I instantly made my way to her and started untying her from the chair. I made her lean on my chest.

I don't know where to touch her. Her face was bruised, her hands and legs had rope marks on them. I just felt this incredible rage in me, wanting to teach whoever did this to her a lesson.

"WE NEED A MEDIC HERE!!" James shouted on seeing her. Only when he did that did that did it seep in

I'm currently on a mission with my men her

I regained my composure, "Capture the boss and those three alive. DO YOU UNDERSTAND" I said to my men. "YES SIR" my men replied.

We killed the rest of them and I ordered cleanup to take care of the rest. I went to our main headquarters AKA my mansion.

I entered my room and took a shower. I was informed that the boss and three were ready and waiting in the torture chamber 5.

I should really kill people with a gun a blade causes too many blood stains but its more fun with a blade though.

And yes I have many torture chambers. It depends on the severity of their crimes and chamber 5 is my personal chamber.

I then remembered her. "James tell me how is she?" I asked him as I thought that it would be too much to go and see her.

"Why don't you just come and see for yourself. I already have a lot of work with the clean up itself" he cut the call before I could say anything.

Seriously I would have killed someone if they talked to me this way. Only him my best friend he's lucky he is.

I was changing my clothes when I saw that James sent me a message that on which room she is.

I will just check on her once and then leave.

I made my way to the room it was easy as it was the nearest room to mine. Did he do this on purpose.

I peeked in and saw that Cole was inside he was playing something on his phone.

"So how is she?" I asked nonchalantly. "Oh boss, the doctor said that she should be fine now. The only major injure she has is that two of her ribs are fractured. Ah! and the reason she fainted was due to dehydration" he said while looking a me. "hmm" I said.

But broken ribs......it will take six weeks to heal and we have our semester finals in two to three weeks.

Wait a minute am I worried about another person Me? I scratched my head. What is happening to me?.

"Umm. Boss what is the matter?" Cole said. Shit I forgot I was still in this room.

"Nothing. Just keep a eye on her" I said as I made my way to the door. I looked back one last time and then I left.

Brooke's POV

I woke up and felt a nice and fluffy bed underneath. At that instant itself I knew that I wasn't at my flats.

I opened my eyes to see someone who was so into whatever he was doing in his phone that he didn't see that I woke up.

I called him but it was more like a whisper as my throat was as dry as a desert.

I tugged his shirt. he looked at me, I just smiled and said "Water please" I whispered.

He brought some water for me I sat up and I felt a stinging pain in my ribs.

"Oh! sorry I forgot" he helped me sit up. I drank the water.

Last thing I remember are his eyes am I in his mansion again? I looked around and a black velvet sofa, a white table, a white walk in closet and black wallpaper. It seems the room in black and white theme.

"Umm. Where am I?" I asked the boy who was again busy with his phone.

"You're at our bosses mansion. Thank Satan we saved you or else I don't know what would have happen to u" he said while still focused on his phone.

"If I didn't say anything to u guys then I would probably not have been caught by them so It's my fault anyways" I said faintly.

The wound on my ribs is making it harder to talk clearly.

"That is true" I heard a voice from the door. I looked up and saw the man because of whom I almost lost my life.

"If you're awake then join me for breakfast downstairs" he said as he turned around and left.

He seriously doesn't know about the courtesy of asking or waiting for replies does he?.

The guy who was standing beside me left with Lucius. I stood up and Ahh! Seriously where are the pain killer's?!

I looked at myself in the mirror, my face was still a bit swollen and bruised on top of that.

I can't even go to college like this, mother hen will probably kill me and him if possible.

I went down wearing the same thing I was wearing earlier as it would be a pain literally and figuratively.

I was clenching my ribs as I went down the stairs I'm in pain. The world's a bit*h.

I repeated in my head as went down the stairs and took my seat as if I wasn't cursing at all in my head.

I started eating the porridge that was placed in front of me as I sat down. I saw that he still wasn't eating.

Like I care I'm going to leave after I finish this anyway I thought.

"Live here" he said while looking at me straight. I almost spat out the porridge in his face

if only he wasn't siting three feet away. What the h*ll....?
