Brooke's POV

I'm sorry but who are you?

"I don't know who you are but I think you had a bit too much to drink" I told as I walked past her.

"You bish!" she pulled me. I even dropped the plate my chocolate bread No~ I cried internally.

"What is problem?!" I yanked her hand off
She had a glass of champagne in her hand and even tried to pour it on me. Thank Satan I have quick reflex I was able to dodge it.

"You dare to dodge it!" she screamed. Is this place soundproof or something?

"I'm so sorry I will try not to this time" I told her sarcastically. "You...." she shuttered.

"You think your so witty don't you?" a guy said. "Brother~ See that girl" she whined to the guy.

I glanced over to my table where Lucius should be but he wasn't there and this guy had two more men with him.

My luck just had to run out at the perfect time doesn't it?

I backed up as they came near until I hit the railing. The girl had a sick smile on her face that bish.

"You wouldn't mind having a one-on-one fight with me do you?" I asked. "Or is it that you all are sissies" I teased them. They then came at me angrily.

I managed to dodge it for a while until I slipped.... Stupid heels!!

I fell off the railing and somehow managed to regain my balance and hide under the balcony.

"Where did she go boss?" I heard faint mumbles.

How am I going to get back to the party now....? I thought touching the corsage that Lucius gave me.

Lucius POV

I was called to drink some more by the old men and of course I couldn't refuse they were friends with my grandfather. Sometime later I returned to my seat.

Is she still at the balcony? It had been more than an hour so I decided to search for her.

"Brooke!" I called her when I went to the balcony. but I heard no reply so I went to search for her at the desert counter, the bar. I even checked the restrooms. I had this uneasy feeling and it was eating my heart alive.

I called the staff and told then to check the cctv.

Even her phone is here there was no way she would have left without it. Just where are you? I thought as I racked my hair in frustration

Meanwhile~

"Shit~ its cold" I shivered. I couldn't climb back using the railing as I couldn't reach it

Damn it! I'm a 5'7 girl with no upper body strength at the moment.

"Lucius~" I muttered looking at this corsage that Lucius gave me just before we entered

"Just what flower are you?" I looked at the corsage. I brought my legs close to my chest and hugged them

"I will just wait for a car to pass by and jump at it if worst comes to worst" I told myself.

Back to Lucius~

"Have you found anything yet." I asked darkly. I don't have time for this at all.

"Si-sir she ha-hasn't left the venue ye-yet" the stuttered.

"Are you sure." I said with authority of a mafia leader. "ye-yes sir" the guy. Useless creatures.
