It was after midnight, when I hit the streets, when I left a part of me behind, the most important one. I wanted to come back, really bad, but I knew I am going to cause you more troubles and losses. I had to swallow my feelings for your own good. But I couldn't just walk down the streets without leaving, or without remembering what I wrote:
"I love you, but I cannot let myself hurt you. If I hurt you I feel like I am hurting myself, if you lose something or someone because of me, I feel like I lost. I am leaving for your own good, to keep you safe. I will always love you. Goodbye love." And I drew a little heart at the end.
As I was remembering these words, and trying to hide my tears walking down the streets, I hear running sounds behind me. I looked, and all I could see and hear was a girl running towards me screaming: "please do not leave me too!" And I couldn't retain myself anymore, all I wanted to do was to hug you and kiss you. And so I did. I felt like I only wanted to look in your eyes, and stay there forever. Taste your lips like it will be the last thing I will ever get a taste of.
"- I can't stay here, I have to leave. The only thing I will ever do to you is hurting you, and I can't let myself do that to you!
-When I accepted you after you told me you were a gang boss, I accepted you knowing all the risks! I loved you for who you are and what you made me feel. I trusted you, I gave you my emotions and my body. And now I need you to be here for me! I know there are a lot of things coming at us. But I also know that we can get through anything and everything! I love you, don't leave me."
When I heard these words, my eyes teared up. I hugged you with all my strength, all I could think about was that I can't see you in pain, I can't see you crying although I know it will happen, and I can't be the reason you cry because. I just want to protect you from everything and everyone. I hoped that I could make you feel as half as happy and confident and comfortable and secure and loved and appreciated as you make me feel. And in that moment I forgot the world, I just wanted to be yours. I just wanted you to be mine.
