Party

I had spent the intire day in my room, when I heard a nock on my door. ''Come in'' I said. Nat and Maria came inside and just looked at me. ''What is it? Why are you staring at me? Cause it's making me really uncomfortable. Did I do something wrong?'' ''Well, beside the fact that you locked yourself into your room and didn't answer when we called you and that we're having a party tonight and you look like a mess everything is great.'' ''You didn't call me.'' ''We all did.'' ''Well than I didn't hear it. Is that such a big deal?'' they both exchanged worried looks, but Nat just said ''Okay, but you need to dress up. You can't go to a party like this.'' ''Why not? I never dress up.'' But I was afraid I couldn't get out of this one... 

''Yeah that looks good. But isn't it a bit simple?'' I wore a black dress with red details ''No, it matches her hair.'' ''Yeah you're right.'' ''Guys! I'm not going on a date. It's just a party.'' ''Sorry, you're right. But it is still a party.'' I sighed, but didn't complain any further. 

After my hair was braided in, Nat said ''The party starts in an hour. You can come to the living room with us, but if you don't want to you can stay here until the party starts.'' ''Uhm, yeah. I'm coming in ten minutes. You two go ahead, I'll catch up later.''

*Time skip 1 hour*

When I arrived at the party I covered my ears. My hears were pretty sensitive and didn't like the loud music. I would probably get used to it soon. I spotted Nat and Maria at the bar. The only people I felt like starting a conversation with. While I walked towards them I looked around to see Thor and a sort of liquor surrounded by a group of men. Thor and alcohol never went good. The only ones that couldn't get drunk were Steve and me. Steve because of the super soldier serum and me because it was illegal for me to drink. Thor seemed to be protesting against the older man drinking the liquor. Which was great. Only it didn't look like his objection worked. Really, maybe I wasn't able to legally drink at my age, but even if I could I wouldn't. I've seen people drunk before and it was just very stupid. 

''Neither was Omaha Beach blondie,'' one of the older man said, ''stop trying to scare us.'' ''Alright.'' Thor said. He poured the man a glass of the liquor. This couldn't end good. I ran to them and protested against this horrible idea, but they both wouldn't listen to me. 

A few minutes later two men were carrying the old men out. ''Excelsior'' he muttered. ''I told you...'' I whispered back. I was at the bar with Nat and Maria watching as the man was carried away. I spotted Sam and Steve in the crowd. ''I am gonna talk to Sam. I'll be back later.'' ''Okay have fun!''

I walked through the crowd and finally arrived at the place where Sam and Steve stood. ''Hey boys, how is it going here?'' ''Great,'' Sam replied, ''how are you doing Alex?'' ''Okay I guess. I'm not a big fan of parties.'' ''Yeah, I get that.'' ''How is going with your case?'' I asked, eager to change to subject. ''Nothing.'' ''I'm sorry. I want to help, I really do. But I have to help poor Nat manage the boys. She can't do that on her own, she needs some back up.'' ''It's okay. I know this people are trouble. Avenging is your world and your world is crazy.'' ''Truer words have never been spoken buddy.'' ''Hey, I'm going to get some air. I'll see you later.'' ''See you later Alex.'' 

*At the roof*

The stars were shining in the bright night sky. The air cold, but not unpleasent. I sat down and just looked at the stars. I have always loved stars. They are beautiful and mysterious. They had a bright and dark side. It was so fascinating to study. Or just to look at. If I'm stressed or can't sleep I go to look at the stars or make one myself with my powers. I was so deep in thought, that I didn't noticed Nat beside me. She sat down next to me and put a hand on my shoulder, but she didn't look at me. She looked up at the stars, like I did. ''They're beautiful, aren't they.'' ''Yes they are. It calms me down. Gives me some time to think.'' ''And what do you need to think about now?'' ''I don't know. It's weird.'' ''If somethings bothering you you can tell me. That's what friends are for.'' We both met eachothers eyes, I was trying hard not to cry, but I couldn't hide anymore. She had the right to know. And I wanted to tell her. I started to sob and she hold me tight to her chest. ''Sshh, it's okay. Everything is going to be fine.'' we just sat there for a few more minutes ''What is bothering you?'' ''Ever since that mission, you know the one with HYDRA and the Enhanced,'' she nodded, ''well ever since then..and it is really weird because I don't even know her...I've heard the name of the girl in my head. Wanda Maximoff. It feels so weird and I don't know the reason behind it. It's confusing.'' ''Oh Alex, why didn't you tell me sooner?'' ''Because it sounds so stupid.'' ''It doesn't. It doesn't sound stupid at all. I've seen a lot of stupid thing so I know.'' I let out a little laugh ''You better laugh, otherwise I would have to tickle you. Come on. We better go back to the others.'' ''Yeah, everyone except the team is probably already gone by now.'' we stood up and walked back inside...
