Their first interactions before teaming up against class A were a little messy, mostly because they were all awkward encounters in the hallways or restrooms, and the first time they "talked" was in one, actually: Monoma was washing his hands when Shinso entered, standing by the door. Monoma spotted him through the mirror, speaking to his reflection with a smirk.
"Weird to see you around here, too, purple guy. I've seen you everywhere, lately. What are we playing at?"
Shinso, still by the door, said "Plot twist: It is no coincidence", before leaving.
Monoma blinked, mouth agape, and stayed that way for about 5 more minutes until Kendo knocked at the door asking if he was still in there.

Sus primeras interacciones antes de formar equipo contra los de la clase A fueron un poco desaliñadas, mayormente porque fueron encuentros un tanto torpes en los pasillos y baños. La primera vez que "conversaron" fue en uno, de hecho: Monoma se lavaba las manos cuando Shinso entró, quedándose en la puerta. Monoma lo vio, hablándole a su reflejo por el espejo con una sonrisa de lado.
—Es raro verte por aquí también, chico morado. Te he visto por todas partes últimamente ¿A qué estamos jugando?
Shinso, aún sin moverse de la puerta, dijo, antes de irse:
—Plot twist: el que nos encontremos no es una coincidencia.
Monoma parpadeó boquiabierto y se quedó así por cinco minutos hasta que Kendo tocó la puerta, preguntando si aún estaba ahí.
