Chapter 4-New Friends or Nah

When I get to school Friday morning I am surprised to see a guy in my class talking to Kelsey. He has glasses and looks a kinda nerdy but I don't judge he could be a thug for all I know(probably not)

"Hey Kelsey, who's your friend?"

She looks up smiling and says,"This is Marucho, he's in the all boys class."

"Oh, well um, hi Marucho, I'm Natalie."

"Hey Natalie, well I gotta go, see you later Kelsey."

"Bye," she replies with a smile.

"Tell me everything."

"Everything like what? He came up to me and started talking, totally nerdy."

"Lol that's mean."

"I'm not trying to be mean. He is a nerd and kinda weird its just the truth."

"OK then..."

Tristan

"Be quiet class" Mr. Harewood said as we entered the classroom.

First period, I had physics and I was actually pretty good at it surprisingly. I don't really pay attention at school and I'm not bothered if I fail anyway but sciences come naturally to me so I figured why not put in a little effort?

"Hi," a guy sat next to me. He's obviously in my class but I can't remember his name.

"Um, hi, can I help you with something?"

"Well if you were listening you would know we were supposed to find partners for the lab assignment."

"And you're here because?"

"I'm your partner."

"What if I don't want a partner?"

"Well that's too bad."

"Fine, whatever"

"I'm Marucho"

"I don't care"

"What crawled up your butt and died"

"We're lab partners, not friends so I don't have to be nice to you"

"Whatever"

For once, I actually hated physics, my "partner" is one of those know it all freaks and thought everything I did was wrong. I wanted to hit him so bad but fighting isn't really my thing. I like keeping out of trouble because what's the point of sitting in the deputy principal's office for two days, when I can just kill people in my mind or in GTA. Oh well its over and I'll know to stay away from him so I don't do anything stupid.

Natalie

"I have had the worst possible day," I said to Tamz as I entered the classroom at lunch.

"I just can't seem to do anything right today,"

"That happens, it's just a bad day, we all have them," she replied glumly.

"So I'm guessing yours was crappy to."

"You'd be guessing right, failed a test, forgot homework, got a detention, don't know what I haven't screwed up."

"I know how you feel, ugh I just want to sleep and forget everything but the day isn't over yet unfortunately."

Tristan

When I enter my class at lunch I have the most unpleasant surprise. There is Ross smiling with that idiot Marucho.

"Hey Ross," I say with an extremely fake smile.

Ross looks up at me,"Oh damn, what did I do?"

"What? You didn't do anything," I say in a tight voice, trying to surpress my anger. I wanted to vent my anger about him and now I find out he's friends with my best friend. Life just likes to screw me over doesn't it?

"You have on your pissed off face."

"What! I don't have a pissed off face and I'm not pissed."

"OK you need to talk, bye Marucho."

"Yeah, talk to you later Ross."

"Why do you like that idiot?"

"He's not a bad person, I wouldn't call us friends but he's OK. I'm assuming you don't like each other."

"Not at all he's just so horrible!"

"See I knew that was your pissed off face," Ross said with a smirk.

"Whatever."
