The words said by Cheryl's mother repeated in her head daily.

"you have no time for tears,you have a wonderful life"

She would never forget.
She was only 10.
And yet her mother claimed she owned her whole life.

"you are being sent away.and for a long damn time"

She would never forget the conversation therapy.
Something that she still hurts because of.
That she would never tell Toni.
Because she was too traumatized.

"i saw you staring at antionette topaz,i thought we had fixed that"

Cheryl's eyes started burning,remembering the pain of the slaps that time.
She thought she was never going to see her mother again.
She wishes her mother didn't get Tonis damn address.

Cheryl fell on the bathroom floor,crying more at the memories.She screamed slightly,digging her nails into her skin in frustration.This caused blood to come dripping down her thigh.

Suddenly the door opened,"holy shit cheryl" Toni said panicking.She quickly dropped down and took Cheryl into her arms.

"hey its okay,im here,calm down baby" Toni said tears coming out of her own her own eyes.

"did you do this to yourself?" Toni said,looking at the blood still going down her thigh.

Cheryl nodded,"i-i didn't mean to" she cried.

"Okay,i've got a towel with water that im gonna use to clean it" Toni said gently.

As Toni was helping her,Cheryl sighed."I'm sorry,i can't explain what happened right now" she said slowly not crying that much.

"It's fine,you don't have to tell me about it if you don't want to,i'll be here no matter what".

Toni leaned in,and kissed her.

Cheryl knew she would always get reminded of her past trauma,but Toni made it all worth it.

everything is worth it for her.
