After Cheryl staying at my house 2 times,me and Cheryl walked in school together.She walked with her head low,I sighed,taking her hand.She looked up at me for a second,compassion in her eyes.

Then,Veronica Lodge came up to us. "Oh my god Toni,why are you holding hands with Cheryl?she's such a dyke" Veronica said.Cheryl let go on my hand,but I but it back.

"she is not a dyke,she is amazing and you would know that if you weren't a stuck up bitch" I told Veronica. "oh my god,you are sticking up for her.we aren't friends anymore." Veronica said."we never were,and we never will be.so get away from us right now." I told her.

After Veronica was gone Cheryl started to cry. I hugged her, "don't listen to her,she's wrong.she's a bitch." I softy told her.Cheryl held on to me tightly as we went to class.

When school ended,me and Cheryl went to my house. "Cheryl,you can you know,stay here permanently if you want." I offered.She smiled,nodding and going to her house to get her stuff.

She came back with about let's say 4 suitcases. "Dang,got quite the stuff" I said laughing. She shrugged setting her stuff down and sitting next to me on the bed.

"you know you didn't need to tell Veronica to stop,it's not new to me." She said. "Oh,you don't deserve to be treated like that,ever." I told her.She smiled, "thank you,no one has ever said that to me.you are so amazing" she told me.

After several moments of silence,my sister came into my room. "Elle what are you doing here?" I asked her. "Cheryl ,come into my room." She demanded. Cheryl thought for a moment,then nodded,following Elle.

About 10 minutes later Cheryl came back in and sat next to me. I grabbed her hand "why didn't I become your friend earlier" I questioned myself sighing. "Because I'm s-shy and wouldn't be able to ask you to be my friend." She told me.

The rest of the night we hung out,enjoying each other's company.We watched movies and had a good time.It was an amazing night.
