Cheryl sat,huddled up into Toni."why is there something that feels so weird about this day,Cher?" Toni asked quietly.

Cheryl shrugged,also feeling the same feeling.Maybe it was because they both knew they liked eachother now.Or maybe it was just a regular Tuesday and they were just being delusional.

"I'm gonna go get a breath of fresh air" Cheryl said getting up and removing her hand from Toni's.Stepping outside,Cheryl noticed how unfamiliarity cold it was.It was usually never under 30 in riverdale,but today it felt like 10 degrees.

Cheryl walked back inside,"Toni,it's really cold"She said worrying.Toni opened the window to see for herself,"holy shit,you're right".

The day went on,and everything remained the same.They were watching the movie after when Cheryl's phone went off.

It was a random number,but had the area code of riverdale.

Panicking,Cheryl pressed answer.

"hello,who is this"

"you know who this is,cheryl" Said a voice Cheryl hadn't heard in the longest time.

"mother.why is it you decided to contact me after almost 6 years?" She said angered.

"your dad and i are back in riverdale and we are going to be living in thornhill again"

"what the fuck?you abandoned me.you cant just come back like nothing" She basically screamed

"marjorie,we aren't the same people we were in 2012.we've changed more than you would think"

"i don't believe that,even though i don't live in Thornhill anymore,i am never welcoming you onto those doors again."

"oh yes,we were informed that you are living with Antoinette Topaz.The bitch that you obsessed over in middle school.You have to let us live there,it's our house."

"IM the one who had to start paying all the bills after you went on "vacation" in 2012,so rightfully i own it."

"Whatever,i will be finding out Antoinettes location and visting you in exactly 2 hours."

Cheryl sighed,hanging up.

"holy shit Cher,I cant believe she thinks she can come back in your life again."Toni said.

"Also,you obsessed over me in middle school?" She questioned.

"Not exactly,Toni" Cheryl laughed.

two hours later:

A car pulled into Tonis driveway parking.

"Hey,you can do this.i believe in you" Toni reassured Cheryl,kissing her cheek.

A knock could be heard from the door,Cheryl went and answered it.

"Wow,i didn't think someone could look like more of a dyke then they were 6 years ago" Penelope laughed at Cheryl,

"Seriously,that's the first thing you say?" Cheryl sighed.

Penelope looked Toni up and down."Is this your lover.Cheryl?"

"That's Toni Mother,and no.I already regret not telling Toni to lock the doors" Cheryl said in anger.

"Your attitude has not disappeared all this time" Penelope said harshly.

Toni groaned,Walking up to her."Either you treat her with respect,or you get the HELL out of my house." She warned her.

"Looks like I'm gone then,i will be back in a couple days time if you don't let me stay at Thornhill Cheryl" Penelope said slamming the door behind her.

"Are you okay?" Toni said,hugging Cheryl.

"Yeah,i just need a little time alone,this was unexpected and i need to think about a lot." She answered almost in tears.

Toni leaned in,connecting their lips."Okay,I'll be upstairs if you need anything."

I think that might've been the longest chapter of this .I know there wasn't many cute moments,but i needed to add some dinamic.Sorry i keep taking forever to update,i'm going through a lot.
