Chapter 6

Robin

'What the hell is going on here!' I shouted as we both entered the room.
'She's trying to kill me!' Wally responded, running towards us and hiding behind me.
'It's so hard to believe that me and Robin are the young ones here' Zatanna muttered, slapping her forehead.
'WALLACE WEST I SWEAR TO GOD IM GOING TO SHOOT AN ARROW THROUGH YOUR SKULL IF YOU DONT GIVE THEM BACK TO ME' Artemis yelled at him as I rolled my eyes.
'Just calm down, what did he take from you?' I asked, moving my hands up and down, gesturing to lower the volume.
'HE TOOK MY CHEWING GUM PACKETS'
'Seriously, Artemis? It's just gum! Here, I'll get you some more; raeppa mug fo tekcap a ekam' Zatanna expressed, lowering her hands.
A pack of gum magically appeared in the air before she grabbed it and tossed it towards Artemis.
'Thanks Zee!' She responded before turning towards Wally;
'You're safe on this one Wally, but don't think i won't break your bones the next time'
'You love me babe' he responded in cocky tone.
Oh, did I mention? They're dating. I know it's not very obvious, but what can I say, they're basically perfect for each-other.

'That's the problem!' she shot back with a sarcastic smile before leaving the room.
'Dude, she really just ended you' I mocked.
'Hey! At least I was brave enough to reveal my feelings to the girl I love, unlike you' he winked before speeding out of the room.
Zatanna raised an eyebrow at the response but before she could say anything, I quickly changed the subject;
'So, where were we before...whatever that was'
She giggled slightly before making herself comfortable on the couch;
'Well, we were talking about how Batman, and probably my dad, are hiding something' she responded throwing her head back with a sigh.
'Maybe we should have this conversation tomorrow, you seem very tired and...' I yawned,
'...and so am I. So lets just go to bed early' I said stretching my arms out.
She lifted her head up and gave me a soft smile;
'Yeah and also the fact that we had training...' I heard her voice fade out as my eyes were fixed on her features.
She was just so...beautiful. Perfectly wavy raven hair, baby blue eyes that would even make the sky jealous, long curly eyelashes and her soft pink lips...

Zatanna

'Robin are you even listening to me?' I questioned with a raised eyebrow.
He blinked at me for a second before quickly responding;
'Oh, yeah, yeah of course!'
'You know, you're a pretty bad liar for a detective, boy wonder' I smirked before standing up and making my way to my room.
I stopped and turned around to face him;
'Good night, Robin' I smiled.
'Good night,  Zee' I watched him smile back before entering my room and closing the door behind me.

Ugh, I hated the weird tension between us. I just wanted to tell him how I felt already. It's so frustrating having all these feelings bottled up inside of me. I just want to let them out..

Megan

SERIOUSLY! That was the most awkward conversation I've ever heard! God, even Conner isn't that dry. Yes, I was kind of ease dropping on their conversation but DID YOU SEE HOW THEY WERE INTERACTING WITH EACH-OTHER? It's seriously embarrassing how they're so blind! Like, for example; Zatanna didn't even think of anything when Robin was just staring at her face for like 6 minutes straight and just daydreaming about her. I seriously need to step back in. I only backed out because of Kaldur, who was convinced that what we were doing was 'invading their personal lives' which, by the way, we weren't. We were just trying to help! I seriously need to do something before they both manage to convince themselves that they're 'just friends'. Maybe I need someone's help...

Zatanna

'Oh hey Robin! What you up to?' I asked, as I stood up from the couch.
'Oh, hey Zee! I was just going to meet up with Bats since he told me he had something important to talk to me about'
'Do me a favor and ask my dad to call me if you see him there, he hasn't contacted me in a while...I'm guessing it's because he has a lot of missions, well, I hope at least' I said as a frown took over the smile on my face.
'Don't worry Zee, the League is very busy, I'm sure he has a good excuse for his absence. But I'll make sure to tell him if I see him' he smiled,
'Thanks Robin' I smiled back before watching him disappear into the beam of the zeta-tube.
I seriously need a break from all these new emotions, it's driving my crazy.

A/N:
Hey! I'm so sorry that I haven't been posting long chapters. It's just that school started and I'm just extremely tired after school so I don't really have the energy to write a lot. The holidays are coming up which means that I'll be able to write longer chapters, yayyy!
One more important thing: this story is going to be ending soon! I know, it wasn't long but I just think that it should just end already because it's getting very repetitive and the characters are starting to kind of understand the feelings between them. So, I'm thinking about either making 2 more chapters or just a very long last chapter!
