'Before I tell you the mission, I would like to ask you all to take this very seriously. We, the league, never want any harm to happen to any of you. It would be very unfortunate if that ever happened' Batman stated.
We all looked confused by his sudden comment about our safety;
'May I ask the reason why you are warning us? Is this mission going to be dangerous?' I questioned.
'Unfortunately, yes. Especially for one specific person in this team,' he tuned around,
'Zatanna'

Her eyes widened and she had a mixture between a shocked and concerned expression on her face,
'Me? What? Why?' She pointed at herself.
'As you might know, the league has been dealing with one specific villain called Klarion.'
'Yeah, that witch guy' Robin added.
'Sorcerer' He corrected.
'Sooooo...we have to beat him up?' Wally joined in.
'Defeat him, Kid flash. The whole League has a very important mission out of space involving The Light, our least important worry is Klarion, which is why I would like to assign you this mission'

He stepped closer;
'The power stone is a stone that grants you an extreme amount of magical powers, it increases the effectiveness of any spell instantly. One down side, it possesses the body of the one to use it, making them unaware of their acts. They become obsessed with power which leads to the destruction of any form of advanced magic that is not considered dark, like your father's'
She stared blankly at Batman who then continued;
'You have to destroy it, Zatanna'
Her eyes widened.

Zatanna
'What! I have to destroy it? This is crazy! My magic isn't strong enough to do that!' I blabbered out nervously. The future of the world of magic in our, no, more like MY hands! Pressure much?
'Klarion will try his best to put you down first, even if compared to his magic you're not a threat'
'Harsh' I thought,
'But that's what he thinks. He still doesn't know what you're capable of Zatanna, and you don't either. You're father trusts you with this. He knows that there are a lot of things you can do that you don't know off, like destroy this stone on your own.'

'So basically I have to save the world of magic, great' I sighed.
'I, and the whole league, know you can do it' he put a hand on my shoulder.
'I'll have to go now, good luck.' he added with his usual deep and straightforward tone, and just like that, he disappeared through the beam of the zeta-tube. 

'Don't worry Zee, we're all here to help you!' Robin smiled as he noticed the worried expression on my face. They all gave me comforting smiles.
'We know you can do it Zee, and we'll do everything to help you!' Megan spoke.
'I know how it feels to have a very bad enemy to deal with, if that makes you feel better' Conner continued.
'See? We're all here for you Zee, you just need to let him know that he shouldn't underestimate you' Artemis added.
'Yes gurl! Believe in yourself' Raquel replied,
'You guys are right, I'll show him who the real magician is here!' I said confidently.
'Yeah and we'll make sure to kick his witch butt while you do that whole destroying stone thing so don't worry about him too much' Wally assured.
It felt so good to have people that trusted you.

Artemis
'Gosh, Wally! Quit being such a chatterbox!' I exclaimed quietly.
'Sorry babe', I rolled my eyes at him.
We were all separated into pairs to go look for the stone in the location Batman had sent us. It was like a strange dark mystic forest place, and it surely didn't look like somewhere you would go for a walk.
'Do we even know what the stone looks like?' He raised an eyebrow.
I gave him a 'you're an idiot' glare before turning around to scan the area once again. No trace of any magic stone. I'm not surprised.

'it's a very powerful stone after all, it's not like it's just going to be laying around on the floor' I thought.
'We know that, Artemis' I heard Robin say in the mind link,
'Sorry, forgot that we were linked, Wally's just getting on my nerves right now' I replied.
'Hold up, looks like we've got some company here' Zatanna added
