Chapter 7

Zatanna
'Hmmm... strawberry milk or chocolate milk..' I mumbled as I grabbed two bottles from the fridge.
I looked back in fourth between the drinks before finally making my decision.
Putting the strawberry milk back in the fridge, I heard the zeta-tube speak;
'Robin, B01'
A small smile appeared on my face as I quickly fixed my hair and grabbed the closest thing to me, which happened to be a book, trying my best to act natural.
'Oh uhm, hey Zee! Didn't think you'd still be here' he smiled as he walked towards me.
'Hey, how was the visit then?' I asked, lifting my head up from the book I was 'reading'.
'Uhm, it was fine', he stood next to me with his hands in his pockets,
'Oh, that's good' I said, with a slightly disappointed tone from the lack of detail in his answer
I looked back down to the book in my hand.
'Hey, is that my book?' He asked, peeking from my shoulder.
I jumped from the sudden action;
'You almost gave me a heart attack!' I shouted, hitting his chest playfully.
'What can i do, it's not my fault I have such amazing ninja skills' he bragged.
I rolled my eyes.
'And, yeah, it's your book'
'Cool. Just one problem..' he said in a serious tone.
I raised an eyebrow,
'What?'
'I don't know if it's a magician thing and stuff butttt....the book is kind of upside down' he said, with a slight smirk forming in the corner of his mouth.
I blinked blankly at him before lowering my gaze to look at the book,
'Oh, right! Yeah yeah! It's like a magician thing! I can, uhm, read upside down?' I blabbered out nervously.
He raised an eyebrow at me before making his way to the couch.
'Do you want to watch a movie or something? I'm kinda bored' he said as he sat down.
'Only if it's a Disney movie' I answered with a smirk.
He let out a small laugh;
'Why do you like kids' movies so much' he mocked
'They're not kids' movies!'
'They are-'
'They are not!' I argued back.
He rolled his eyes before scooting over to the side.
I sat down and grabbed the remote;
'So, was the thing Batman wanted to talk about important?
'Oh, ahm, not really' he responded, still not giving me enough information
'Oh' I responded  disappointedly
'But your dad was there'
My eyes light up for a second and turned around te face him.
'Really? How is he? Did anything happen? Did you ask why he hasn't talked to me? Is he-'
'Woah, woah, calm down. He's completely fine! He just has been busy with the league, that's why he hasn't been contacting you, nothing to be worried about' he cut me off.
I sighed,
'Sorry, I'm just not use to not seeing my dad in a while', I looked down with a sad expression.
He put his hand on my shoulder and lifted my chin up;
'You'll be fine' he smiled softly.
I smiled back as we found ourselves staring into each other's eyes.

Wally
'Hey guys! Woahhhh, am I...interrupting something?' I shouted, my eyes slightly widening at the sigh of the two youngest.
They both jumped up,
'Oh, hey Wally..!' Robin responded, awkwardly scratching the back of his head.
'Have you guys seen Artemis?'
'She's at Green Arrow's'
'Thanks, now you can get back to whatever I walked in on you doing' I mocked.
'Shut up!' Zatanna shouted.
'Seriously, just get together already', I rolled my eyes and sped out of the room before they could respond.

Robin
'So, uhm, we still watching the movie?' I asked nervously, trying to change the subject
'Uh yeah! Do you want to call the others over? I mean, I honestly appreciate them staying at the cave since I joined but I kind of miss them now that they're gone..'
'Yeah I'll do that' I smiled.
I got up to go and grabbed phone when I was stopped by Zatanna grabbing my hand. I raised an eyebrow at her,
'I- I just wanted to say..thank you'
'For what?'
'Well, you see, I'm not very used to being around people because I was always considered weird for having powers. But, being around all of you made me realize that there's people that I can truly trust and that love me for who I am. And, you moving from the manor to the cave for a couple of months for me just means a lot' tears began to form in her eyes.
I sat back down and pulled her in for a hug;
'Hey, isn't that what friends are for?' I laughed, hugging her tightly.

Artemis
'Okay, that's enough hugging you two. I've literally been standing here for like, what, 5 minutes and you guys haven't even noticed!' I crossed my arms across my chest.
They both pulled away from each-other.
'Hold up, are you crying again?' I jogged up to her.
'Again?' Robin repeated.
'Yeah she was crying yesterday because I told her that Batman wouldn't allow her to have a flee-infested cat in the cave!'
'What! No, it was completely clean! And did you see how adorable it was?'
'I don't like cats'
'But I do!' she stood up.
'But I don-'
'Okay, why are we suddenly arguing about cats?' Robin said, stepping in between us.
We all laughed and sat down.
'So, why were you crying?' I asked.
'Nothing, just happy tears' she gave me a soft smile.
'Wait, aren't you suppose to be with Ol- I mean Green Arrow?'
'Yeah, but I really missed Zatanna so I left earlier to come here. But it doesn't look like she needs my company right now' I winked at her playfully.
She rolled her eyes.
'Also, I was thinking we should all spend some time together, you know, the team' I mumbled.
'Who are you?' Robin said with a shocked expression.
'What?'
'I mean who are you and what did you do with sassy, not-social, and angry Artemis'
'Oh shut up!'
'Oh, by the way, Wally was looking for you' Zatanna said, grabbing the remote.
'Ugh, I don't know what to do. I kinda want to apologize to him since I got so mad at him for no reason..'
'Then apologize?' Robin scoffed.
'Its not that easy!'
'Why? Aren't you guys in like a relationship? You're suppose to understand each-other!' Zatanna said, turning around to face me.
'You seem to know quite a bit about relationships, still shocked you aren't in one, right Robin?' I smirked.
She rolled her eyes at me;
'Just say sorry'
I groaned.
'Looks like you might need to lend her some of your magic, Zee'

Zatanna
'That's so unprofessional, I don't use my magic for unnecessary stuff!'
'Yeah like grabbing ice cream from the fridge isn't unnecessary?' he smirked.
I gasped;
'Stalker behavior!'
'It's called living in the same place'
'Yeah right, how did you-'
'Yeah, you guys are definitely made for each-other' Artemis laughed before getting up.
'Well, I'm gonna go apologize to baywatch and ill also call the rest of the team to the cave'
'Yeah, you go do that' I answered, swiping through movies on the TV.
'Don't get to comfortable in here! I'm still near!' she mocked.
'ARTEMIS!' I yelled.
'Just kidding!' She snickered before walking out of the room.
'Or maybe not!'
'SHUT UPPPP' I shouted.
Robin
'Now, can we finally watch a movie without being interrupted'
'Next thing you know there's villains in the cave' she chuckled. 
'All team members gather up in the training area for instructions on a new mission'
'Talking about villains..' I sighed
