I run into the Cantina and run to my friends, Aria at my side. Anakin immediately senses the disturbance in the force, and gathers everyone quickly, throwing a few credits on the table. "Tracker," I say, and he nods, pointing to the back entrance. My thoughts are rushing through my head, and I'm unable to process them. One thing sticks in my head: keep them safe.

Padme opens the door and waves everyone out, her brown eyes widened with fear and determination. Suddenly, the front door bursts open, and several Stormtroopers rush in, but before I can do anything, Padme whips out her blaster and shoots them all in the head, giving me my daily reminder that she's a badass.

"What are you staring at? Go!" She commands, pushing me out and letting the door slide shut behind us. We run around the Cantina, only to find a battalion of troopers waiting for us, their armour gleaming brightly in the Tatooine sunset. We skid to a halt, us Force-users stepping to the front. Trayden, ever the stubborn one, stands tall with us, putting on his father's Beskar helmet.

Kylo Ren emerges from the ranks, the Knights at his side. "I really expected more from such an experienced force-user." He says, the voice changer in his mask driving me crazy. "And I expected less from such a brat." I shoot back. I can sense an eye-roll under the mask.

He cocks his head to the side, and his energy turns from arrogant to shocked in mere seconds. "Grandfather?" He asks, voice faltering. Anakin nods his head solemnly, acknowledging his descendant. "Ben, please. Don't do this. You see me as a symbol of carnage and hate, but you forget that in my last moments as Darth Vader, I resolved the conflict in my soul and returned to the light, where I belong. Where you belong." Anakin states, trying to heal his grandson's tortured soul.

"No. You never should have turned. It made you weak, and I will not make that same mistake." Kylo declares, igniting his saber. We all do the same, blue, purple and white glowing. I raise my light sword, once broken but now fixed, the broken crystal replaced with one that I healed. "We give you this last chance to surrender and to avoid the destruction ahead," I say, my voice almost pleading.

He directs his troops forward, and I sigh, my heart heavy with the decision I must make. " We will do what we must," Dominique says, preparing her double-edged saber for battle. I breathe, allowing the force to flow through me, as I am an outlet for both the dark and the light. The energy swirls around me, and I feel the pull to the dark, as I always do, as I always will.

"Morgan. Allow the light to keep you anchored. Remember, I will be with you, always." Obi-Wan assures me, keeping me from allowing the dark side to seduce me. I feel the power of life, and death around me, and direct the energy towards the First Order, pushing them back but not harming them.

Then, I feel another energy. An unwelcome one, one I've felt many times before. Kylo Ren has somehow broken the barrier around my mind. "No..." I whisper, pushing him back with as much strength that I can muster. "Allow anger to take over you, you must not. Concentrate, Morgan. Feel the light, let it guide you." Master Yoda tells me, guiding me every step of the way. "You are never alone Morgan. We are with you." Qui-Gon reminds me, adding his power to mine.

"I'm sorry." I hear a quiet voice say before I manage to repel Kylo from my thoughts.  My eyes open, and I see the army, pushed back, and Anakin, grabbing my arm and pulling me towards the ship. "I can't. They will follow us everywhere, and I've used all my power." I say. He grins, gesturing for me to look behind me.

I turn, and my eyes widen as I see the entire Resistance fleet behind us. "Well, you probably didn't expect that, did you, Morgan?" Poe asks, grinning. I smile. "No, I can't say that I did."
