Ch.17 Family Part 1

   After me and Sage talk about what happened between her and her sister we decide to watch a movie together. We're watching the lion king when I get a text from Mark.

Ugly bitch: Ay we need you down at the house.
Me: Is it really that important I'm with my family right now.
Ugly bitch: Omg you called them ur family I can't wait to tell Jen
Ugly bitch: Also yeah it's important we got new information
Me: Okay I'll be there in 30

"Hey baby I gotta go to work for a little bit I'll be back before midnight. I love you guys." She nods at me then says, "okay love you too babe." I smile at her then give her a kiss and give Brianna a kiss on her forehead. "I'll try to be back before it's time to tell Brianna her bedtime story."

I'm in my car driving when I get a call from Maria.
I know she's the mole in my family but I figure if I keep her around she might lead me to Xavior. I answer the phone and she says "Hey LuLu how you been?" I want to tell her to fuck off but things will work out in due time.

"Great actually Sage just moved in with me. Thanks for talking to her by the way ever since you did our relationship has been so much stronger." I hear her smack her lips on the phone. She doesn't even know how heart broken she's gonna be by the end of this. "Oh well that's good, where you going right now?"

"Just to the store real quick to get Sage some ice cream and Brianna some diapers." I lie so she won't figure out my plan. "Oh okay um is Brianna Sages daughter?" There is no reason for her to question that unless it's for Xavior. "No, I got to go." Before she could say bye I end the call.

   I pull up to the house and use the front entrance as a way to announce myself. When I walk in everyone stands out of respect. I go straight to my office and text for Jen and Mark to come in. While I wait for them I think about how it would be being a stepmom to Brianna. Like she's an adorable baby but I never thought much about being a parent. No matter what Sage chooses I will always be there for her and Brianna.

After a while Mark and Jen come in with their clothes disheveled. They think their keeping a secret but it's quite obvious their together. "So what was so important that you felt the need to interrupt my family time after I spent the whole day here?" I say trying to get straight to the point.

Jennifer finally speaks up, "Um well boss we're sorry to interrupt you but I think you would like to know that Xavior has been spotted with Sages sister." I just stare at them because now I know I need to have a important conversation with Sage.

"Do you guys know the extent of their relationship?" I ask because to my understanding Sage dated Xavior a little over 2 years ago. If I'm doing the math correctly he could be Brianna's father if he cheated on sage with her sister.

"Well based on the research we've done we found out he dated Sage then-" I stop him. I don't want to feel like I know something about Sage or her life that she didn't want me to know. "Don't do anymore research on Sage or her family just continue to watch Maria and Xavior.

"Okay thank you guys I gotta head home we can talk more on saturday after I have that meeting with the Morriti family. They nod there heads then leave closing the door behind them. I get my keys and text sage asking her what she wants from the store.

Tesoro: Can you get me some candies please?
Me: Yes. I'll be back in 20 minutes
Tesoro: Ok Love You <3

      Once I get back from the store I go into our room. When I go in I notice that Sage isn't in the sitting area so I go into the room where our bed is and I see her laying down scrolling through her phone. I sit on the bed and she lets out a little scream then says, "Oh god you scared me." Before pausing and making another squeal then yells "Yay candy!!!". By time she finishes having her moment I'm laughing non-stop.

"I love you" she says while smiling at me. I pull her in for a kiss then tell her I love her too. We pull apart then, I pour the huge bag of candy onto the bed. I take off my shoes and go into our dresser to find some sweatpants. After I get dressed I climb into bed with Sage.

"I have a question for you and I hope it doesn't sound rude." She sits up and looks at me already nervous. She nods her head as to say ask away. "Do you know who Brianna's father is?"
