Ch. 10 Hey boss

I'm sitting in my office at my shipping company thinking about Sage again. It's the only thing I've done since we met almost two weeks ago. I feel like I should talk to her about us furthering our relationship. I know I'm being selfish by bringing her into my life considering my line of "work", but I cannot let her go. After what we did yesterday I don't think I'll ever be able to let her leave me.

I considering the pros and cons of asking Sage to be my girlfriend when I get a call from my close friend Jennifer. I just stare at the phone for a second before answering because I already know if Jennifer is calling then I'm needed down at the house.

I answer the phone and just hear loud screaming in the background. I ask Jen What the fuck is going on over there when the yelling fades away. I'm waiting for a response when Jen says "Hey boss things are going good over here but um Mark is about to kill the hostage before we can get any information out of her." Fuck they can't do shit without me looking over their shoulders.

"Okay Jen I'm gonna need you to give Mark the phone and while he's talking to me tell Twan to come pick me up from my office. Do you understand?" I need to say things slowly to Jen or she gets overwhelmed and in a pissy mood and I don't feel like dealing with that shit today.

"Yes ma'am I understand." I hear some muffling after that and she hands the phone to Mark who by the sound of his breathing is really pissed off.

"Hey lulu I know your gonna be mad at me for almost killing the bitch but before you start yelling just hear me out okay, so what had happened was i was trying to get her to tell me how she infiltrated the family but nooo, This bitch had to be fucking dificult she fucking spit on me so I chopped her finger off. She wasn't gonna actually die Jennifer's just being dramatic."

This is some bullshit by time Mark is done explaining his side of the story I'm already in the car with Twan who's driving us to the house. I get why Mark is mad that bitch shot him but also he needs let his anger be worth it so that he can get some real information which I'm gonna have to go do since all my employees are fucking incompetent.

"Look Mark first of all of you ever call me lulu again I will be obligated to kill your dumbass. Second you need to calm the fuck down and think about the bigger picture. If you kill her we won't know what family she's working for and if we don't know that they'll just send someone else in her place." I end the call Mark has a one track mind that's why he can't see the bigger picture now.

I pull up to the house and go through the back gate so I can get down to the basement without having to talk to many people. Once I get down there I go into the room where the rat is being held.

      When I walk in I see her tied to a chair in the middle of the room blind folded, she's wearing jeans and a short sleeve shirt, and her pinky fingers on both hands are cut off. Mark is sitting in a chair lounging back just chilling like he wasn't just having a psychotic episode. Jen is twirling a knife around in her hands definitely thinking of ways for her to torture someone.  

      They silently wait for my instructions but today they will just be watching. I need to get these answers now before it's too late. I walk up to her making sure my heels click on the floor so she can her me coming. I take the blindfold off her face and she opens her eyes to look at me. Her expression shifts from scared to terrified in seconds after she's my smile.

I start the interrogation with a simple question like who does she work for, but like Mark said she's difficult. "Bitch I don't have to tell you anything when my boss finds you he'll kill you all." She says trying to put up a front once again.

I hum while grabbing a knife and running it along the skin on her arms making her bleed. "Your boss will huh? I grab her throat and make her look at me, you me boss doesn't give a fuck about you he's more worried about his money."

She's so dumb she already gave me half the information I needed out of the four main mafias two are male, the Mexican, and the French. She looks at me confused when I grab a bigger knife. I grab her hand and chop off one of her fingers making her scream loudly.

After I'm finished with her she's crying and she has another 2 fingers missing and she had finally given up her boss. His name is Xavier and he works with the Mexican cartel. The cartel had been after me for a while ever since I started taking over the drug business in LA. The fact that Xavior was able to infiltrate my mafia doesn't sit right with me.

       "Oh yeah my boss may not know where she is now but he'll find your little bitch you've been dating." I look over at her she had stopped crying and was now smirking like a dumbass. Little did she know I will protect Sage with my life. I put a bullet between her eyes and go over to the sink to wash my hands.

"Mark get someone yo clean this up, Jen come upstairs with me real quick." After I give my orders Jen follows me upstairs while Mark starts yelling into his phone.

When we get into my office Jen closes the door and she finally asks the question I was expecting. "Sooo who's the special lady?" I was waiting for her to blurt out the question since the big mouthed spy said was coming for Sage. I might as well tell the truth to one of my only close friends. "Her names Sage and were not dating." Jen being the nosy person she is says, " yet?" Making want to punch her.

"I'm not sure yet it's not like we've talked about an actual relationship or anything but I do want to be with her." Jen starts cheering saying she'll finally be able to go on double dates with one of her friends. I ask her why she won't just go out with Mark and one of his girlfriends but she starts blushing a deep red.

When Jennifer finally leaves I decide to FaceTime Sage and see if I can come over.
