Ch.14 Together again

After I end the call with Lucia I go into my bedroom and start packing Brianna's night bag. I pack her bag I pick her up from in her crib and give her a bath. Then I get her dressed and take her to Mrs. Gilbert's apartment 3 doors down.

I knock on the door and Mrs. Gilbert let's me in. I say hello to her and she smiles at me saying hello back. "So where are you crazy kids going out to tonight?" She asks. I laugh at her question then tell her "We're all just going out to a club my girlfriend owns."

I may be mad at Lucia but I think I might be in love with her. I smile at the thought of her. Mrs. Gilbert is smiling also she says something about wanting to meet her. Then she tells me to go have fun before taking Brianna from me.

I go back to my apartment and take a shower. While I'm in the shower I start thinking about the conversation me and Maria had yesterday at the park.

Flashback *
I'm pushing Brianna on the swing when Maria waves at me she's with a kid who seems to be around 5 or 6 years old. She tells the kid to stay where she can see him. Once she sees the kid get on the jungle gym she goes over to a bench and sits down.

   I say hey to her then let Brianna crawl in the sandbox before walking over to Maria, She looks up at the sky then says "I'm sorry for everything I put you and Lucia through, the other day I was at the mall when I saw you two together and I guess it just made me mad." She says nonchalantly. Okay first off this bitch got the audacity to say sorry after saying some shit like that. Secondly why would she be mad if her and Lucias relationship was just for business.

    "Well Lucia told me your engagement was purely for business purposes why would you be mad that she was in an actual relationship." By the end my statement I'm on the verge of cussing her out she has me fucked up if she doesn't have a good reason.

   "It is and I wasn't mad she was in a relationship I was mad that she got to be happy and I didn't. Lucia  and I got engaged so that she could gain more power and I could get my father to stop pimping me out." Once she says this my anger at her slightly diminishes. I get where she's coming from my last relationship had me in a similar situation to her and her fathers.

   "Why can't you be happy too?" I ask. I want to understand her better. We may never be able to be best friends but we don't have to be enemies.

    "My father won't allow me to be with anyone but Lucia. He doesn't want her to take away the deal she has with him. Even though I love Lucia as a close friend I don't like women in that way." I understand now why she wouldn't want me and Lucia to be together.

    "Couldn't Lucia just keep the deal with your father and then you could be happy with whoever you want?" I look at her and she's looking at the kid, she looks like she's gonna cry.

    "Yeah but then my father would just look for another wealthy person to sell me to. When I was 18 my father sold me to a man who wanted an heir. He  was okay at first but I couldn't get pregnant so he beat me after two and a half years of hell he just kicked me out saying I wasn't worth the money. She stops and wipes the tears from her eyes then continues. "It turns out when he kicked me out I was pregnant with my son Jacob. Four years later Lucia met my son at a daycare and he told her about how we were being treated so she decided that she would help us."

Hearing that made me fall in love with Lucia and not hate Maria. I give her a hug and she tells me to talk to Lucia before she leaves. Then we exchange numbers, and I get into my car with Brianna and we go home.

End of flashback*

I get out of the shower because I hear someone ringing my doorbell. I put on the towel then open the door to see Lucia. I quickly let her in and close the door. Once I finally look at her I see she's wearing a cute outfit that shows off all her tattoos making her look extremely sexy.

    "You look sexy." I tell her while biting my lip. She eyes me up and down and says "Keep looking at me like that baby and we won't be going nowhere." I stop biting my lip and blush suddenly conscious that I'm only wearing a towel. I walk over to her and give her a quick peck. She pulls me back and gives me a real kiss not pulling away til I'm out of breath. "Tesoro don't give me them little pecks that make me want more or were never gonna leave this apartment again."

    "Whatever come on I gotta get ready." I grab her hand and pull her into my room. I go into my closet and put on a robe then start doing my makeup.

"Hey um where's Brianna at I brought her this toy it's in my car." I smile I love how cute Lucia is when it comes to Brianna. I tell her she's at my neighbors house so she can just give it to her tomorrow. We go back to being quiet then I remember there was something I needed to tell her.

    "If you ever lie to me again about something that important I will chop your foot off." I say while I put on my lashes. I look at her through the mirror and see she's staring at the wall.

    "Okay I promise I will never lie to you again."  I smile at her and she smiles back. I finish my makeup then grab the dress Lucia wanted me too wear.

     "Babe can you plug in my flat iron for me please." She gets up and goes into my bathroom to plug it in while I put on a thong and start to lotion up my body. When she gets back she starts mumbling about how she's gonna fück me when we get back and I need to stop playing. I put on the dress then spin around so Lucia can see.

    "Dolcezza you look beautiful, I want to show you off to the world." She walks over to me and puts her hands on my hips before giving me a passionate kiss. I pull away then walk into the bathroom and straighten my hair.

     Once I finish my hair I hear a knock at the door. When i go to open it I expect to see Imani but instead it's a delivery man with flowers. I take them then shut the door I look at the card to see who they're from and what the note says makes me want to go into hiding.

     Hey baby I'm back it's time for you to come home.
